Both are great, but Fisherman's Horizon does a little more for me.

    Fisherman's Horizon - 5
    The Salt Flats - 3

So "Fisherman's" wins, but that one was rather closer than I thought it would be. Good to see some appreciation for "The Salt Flats."

    Next battle is...

Dance with the Balamb-fish - Theme of Dollet (This lively theme is generally played as you wander about Dollet. I suppose it might be named such because the fish of Dollet do their own little dance with fish of Balamb? I believe this theme is also used in outer space.)

    vs.

Galbadia Garden (It has sort of an ominous opening and then gains sort of a mysterious air. As far as I know, it's used only in Galbadia Garden.)

Dance with the Balamb Fish. They're amost opposites though. One's Lively and the other is quite Creepy and Dull.

Ooh, it's tough, I like them both for what they are. I guess I'll have to say that if I composed both I'd be more proud of "Dance with the Blamb-Fish".

Dance with the Balamb-Fish. Sounds like a dance out of the Viennese Classic era.

I realize that the results of this are pretty one-sided, but because of the holiday, I'm going to leave this and all of my other rumbles open for voting until tomorrow evening. No new battles until then.

All right, then, let's end it...

    Dance with the Balamb-fish - 9
    Galbadia Garden - 1

"Galbadia Garden" only manages one vote. Two battles left in the first round...

Under Her Control - Theme of Deling City (This rather funky sounding theme is the normal walking about music for Deling City.)

    vs.

Lunatic Pandora (The theme used within the Lunatic Pandora, obviously. As you might expect of such a weird place, it's a weird theme. Electronic and beep boop and with dark, thubbing background tones.)

Dammit REALLY hard choice. Both are great, simple, and underlooked. Why must one go now... hmm, going with Lunatic Pandora, UHC though really awesome the first time numbs the brain after a while. Lunatic doesn't seem to exhibit such a phenomenon.
