Ooh gimme some Silence and Motion.

BTW, Fragments of Memories is ONLY played in Winhill during the Laguna sequence... because, well, it's the past. As Squall "Fisherman's Horizon" always plays there. So... I'd not have included it... oh well.

    Thanks Neg for the banner!!

Sorry for the delay, I didn't realize we were running so late...

    Fragments of Memories - 4
    Silence and Motion - 5

Close call, but Silence and Motion takes it by one vote.

    Next up is...

Balamb Garden (You first hear this as Squall is walking with Quistis at the beginning of the game. A lovely sound effect in the FMV adds to its charm. It's used as the main theme of Balamb Garden throughout the game.)

    vs.

Ami - Theme of Trabia Garden (This is used as the theme of Trabia Garden and in at least a couple other locations. It's essentially a tender variation on "Balamb Garden" and both, for that matter, are "Eyes on Me" variations.)

They're both great but Balamb Garden is just so classic.

Umm... sorry to jump on this again, ut Ami is not the theme of Trabia Garden, it's only during the orphanage flashback scenes. The only place where it plays whenever you go in and out is the Lunatic Pandora Lab. Trabia Garden's theme is always "Where I Belong". Don't believe me? Youtube it.

I guess I'll vote for Balamb Garden just to get things moving faster... I kind of like Ami better but I wouldn't agree it should be here...

lol. this is a pretty interesting battle, considering Ami actually contains a significant fragment of the Balamb Garden theme within it.

    Anyway, Balamb Garden for me.

All right, if there are anymore location themes that don't actually match the correct location that I have listed, somebody please let me know now.

    Balamb Garden - 10
    Ami - 1

    Next battle is...

Fisherman's Horizon (Just what it says-- the theme of Fisehrman's Horizon. It's a nice, gentle theme that plays within the village. This theme was also adapted for Nobuo Uematsu's Final Fantasy Songbook album.)

    vs.

The Salt Flats - Theme of the Great Salt Lake (The theme played within Esthar's Great Salt Lake area. It definitely seems to suit it.)

Damn... really tough choice here. I like them both and I'm gonna go with The Salt Flats, it'll probably lose but it's a very overlooked track compared to FH's which has been played with by the remixers a lot, would be cool to see in future rounds, as much as I hate voting against FH.

Both are great, but I need to chose Fisherman's Horizon for nostalgic purposes. I love that town.
