During the Madain Sari segment of FF9, when Eiko is cooking for the party, what is the CORRECT amount of water to put in the cooking pot?

Just eleven servings for eleven people. No unit of measurement is ever specified.

Ships, as in 'airships'? Or boats that float on water?

Because you weren't clear on this, I'm going to list both (due to there only being one actual 'boat' card):

Hilda Garde I (85), Hilda Garde III (82), Invincible (83), Red Rose (86), Viltgance (88), Theater Ship (Prima Vista) (87), Cargo Ship (84), Blue Narcissus (81) and Airship (FFV Airship) (100).

Technically, Ark (67) could also qualify as an 'airship' of sorts, but it's card is officially classed as an ediolon card, so I guess that doesn't count.

I was referring to both ships.
I was trying to be sneaky hoping people would forget the classic airship card.

    Anyways that is correct.

Okay, I guess it's up to me to ask a question then:

Near Lindblum, there is a stretch of coastline of the Mist Continent that has a unique effect. What is the name of this beach, what effect does it give and how do you get it?

It makes it dusk (sunset), then as you move closer to Treno, it becomes night time.

    That's incorrect.

I'll give a clue: the beach I'm after is on the east coast of the Mist Continent, and does something to your characters if you fulfill a certain requirement.

And the name of this location hints at what it actually does to your party in the right circumstances.

Perhaps it has something to do with "healing shores" (I think thats what its called). So does it heal you?

Sorry, im not too sure on this one.

The Healing Shores - it heals your entire party for full HP/MP (and I think status, not sure on that) if you've gained Choco's restorative ability by previously having had him visit all the beaches in the world and pressing square.

    Agent0042 got it.

And yes, I'm pretty sure it also restores negative status as well as HP and MP.

    Anyway, it's Agent's turn.

Okay... when Amarant says to Zidane that he'd best remember that "He who hesitates is lost," what phrase does Zidane say that he prefers instead?

That's not hard! It's one of the best quotes in the game!

Amarant: "He who hesitates is lost'. You best remember that."
Zidane: "Yeah, well, I always preferred 'my way or the highway."

    Classic.

Yeah, you got it, Enkidoh. Your question if you want it. Woulda responded sooner, but the server has apparently been acting up and I hadn't been able to get in.

No problem. I don't think anyone has been able to get into the site for the best part of a day, but ah well.

Now for my question (this should be an easy one):

Who was the original writer of the play 'I Want to be Your Canary'?

I love that Zidane quote btw!

Okay, this is hard . . . but I gotta give it my best effort since it's been so long for me playing the game.. Was it Dr. Tot? *Cringes as I anticipate a 'no'* :O

Love the obvious allusion to Shakespeare, who, of course, was from Stratford upon Avon.

Feralanima got it. It was Lord Avon who was the play's original writer.

And a cookie to FF1withallthieves too for correctly mentioning the reference to Shakespeare.

Go ahead a post a question when you're ready Feral.
