My point is you need to better think what it is you are doing. You have this split into 3 files. The first is 99.0MB and the second is 99.0MB and the third is less than 1MB in size.

So you forced me to wait 15 minutes between file 1 and file 2 and then I had to wait another 15 minutes between file 2 and file 3 only to find out that file 3 was less than 1MB in size.

I mean seriously ?!?!?!

That's just not cool in any way shape or form.

Please realize that with RAPIDSHARE a single file can be 200MB so this could have been 1 file instead of 3 files. Even if you did want to split it up into two files (for god knows what inane reasoning) then it could have very easily been split up into 2 files instead of 3 files.

Hey everybody likes that everybody else here shares and I do appreciate it but PLEASE put some thought into what it is you are doing.
Jesus, WTF!. You're complaining about having to wait 15 minutes before you can download parts of files. Jesus. GET A GRIP MAN. There are other people more worse off then you in this world and compared to their problems I would think that taking 30 minutes to download a file is miniscule.

We appreciate the work. But [Hidden link. Register to see links.] has already been uploaded mate.

It's always worth searching the thread, or asking around before you upload anything. Just to double check that you're not duplicating anything that's already been posted. The time waisted could be better spent. Such as uploading something the community DOES need. You know the script lad.

For example, I wouldn't mind ''The Film Music Of Hans Zimmer (2CD)'' from your list.

Thanks.

I'd like to request Prince of Persia (2008) by Inon Zur and Stuart Chatwood. Been looking everywhere for the cd and no luck, only people who have the Limited Edition of the game have the CD and that's hard to find as well, hence the limited edition part

Many thanks.

Sorry to remind this, I was just passing through and rode and entire hallucinating conversation.

I'm just noticing the first greedy bastard is using the points he gets from his downloaders to be able to upload stuffs that the second bastard (the bloody one) is so happy to find that he' s gonna wait the time it needs to download them.

1) My opinion:
You should make apologies and say "thanks".

2) My advice:
Check all the links before download. And don' t download from a guy you consider like... a shit.

Nice to meet you

So having to download 3 files when it could have been 1 ... only to find out that the last file was less than 1MB ... well that was like a slap in my face.

So it set me off ... somewhat understandable if you ask me *shrugs*

I mean it just seemed ridiculously silly and stupid and uncaring to split up a file like that when there was no need for it. I felt like he has no respect for ME as a downloader. Granted my initial post about it was perhaps somewhat condescending but I don't think I was all that mean about it. I only got mean when he took such great offense and justified it by getting more rapid points which is yet another example of selfishness.

1.) Selfish for splitting it the way he did
2.) Selfish for not caring because hey he gets more rapidshare points

So really ... I know we all want to keep the peace and all ... but I clearly don't see how anyone could not agree with me to an extent.

Case in point. And I do this often ... I have something I'll be uploading later on. It is close to 200MB but I like to include a "recovery record" so I used the "best" compression setting and X% for the recover record. It was over 200MB so I did it again and again it was over 200MB so I did it a third time (I think using 3% for the recovery record) and it was under 200MB so I could put it on RAPIDSHARE as one link.

Why do I do that? I have respect for my fellow downloaders.

Sigh this is just going to start all over again but I felt compelled to explain where I'm coming from.
Just to close the discussion with FulciLives and put the disagreement to bed. There's no hard feelings here and I do take what your saying on board - i'll will be more careful with file sizes in the future. You could have just put your point across in a better way or PM'd me.

My winrar is set to 99mb splits and to be honest; I never bother to check the size of the folder that it's splitting & always add a 1% recovery record (I think this should be standard practice incase a file becomes corrupt). I would use MU except that most of american tv shows I watch are always rapidshare, hence why I stick with that. Trust me, i'm not greedy or selfish - far from it and that is why I responded like I did. I don't see the harm in making some extra points on the side - you're getting what you want, and i'm getting what I want. Anyway, hope we can all be friends again
