I personally thought The Bank Job was not only a good movie, but the best Movie Jason did so far.

and Jim Carry as the Riddler still sucked.

And yeah, a movie made up purely of violence won't be good. It's just that I consider good fighting choreography to be more important in a movie than, say, character development. The perfect movie for me, however, would be a violent movie with a good plot and interesting characters. Like Kill Bill. That movie was great.
that's kind of shallow. i'd totally prefer a good plot and character development to violence and explosions. of course, the best thing is the balance of two. a movie can have all the plot development in the world, but if it doesn't catch my interest, then it won't get watched.

(i agree with you that kill bill is awesome)

I've somehow never liked Kill Bill as much as other Quentin Taratino movies I've seen. I found it enjoyable enough in parts, but given the choice would much rather watch Pulp Fiction or Jackie Brown.

    On topic:

Jaws 3 & 4 are definitely another two.

Ya'll want a horrible movie?? Quarantine has got to be the biggest waste of money ever. I think it's already out of theaters, but you do NOT want to see this stupid movie. The Village was also a bad movie.

Ultraviolet I remember as being really bad. And not bad in that hilarious way that kinda makes up for it. Painfully bad.

Ang Lee's Hulk was also terribly dry for an action flick. The new Hulk is just as bad because of Liv Tyler.

Honourable mention: Carnosaur 2, Baby Boy (featuring Tyrese), Dune (1984), 10,000 B.C.

I thought it had much better action than the first Hulk, but much worse acting in general from the entire cast. Inverse proportions tell all.

So how dare yo' mamma. Yeah, I went there.

Two movies that aren't on the list: Dungeons & Dragons, and The Wizard. Street Fighter rates up there as well.

It's a metaphor. He's got a cool, tough exterior, but he's all squishy underneath.

Event Horizon. GOD I HATED THAT MOVIE! Pointless to the extreme, and very falsely advertised. I was hoping for a good sci-fi movie, but this thing was basically a ship from the dimension of Hell Raiser on steriods... very very little sci fi. What little plot there was could have a bull dozer plow through the holes. Whenever I see this damned film on dvd at the store I want to take a shotgun to it.
