Album track commentary:
Prologue -Earth Rise-: I've been waiting for this track. XD It's basically the track used at LIVE EARTH before and after she performed Heavenly Star / Breeze, I believe. Love it!

Intermediate -Orbit Swimming: Sparkly. It seems to mix a bunch of vocals from the new album tracks.

I will: Mmm! Funky sort of Daft Punk-lite sound! I love this sort of thing. Lyrics are some of the strangest in terms of grammar from the team behind Genki Rockets, but eh. They're Japanese people writing English lyrics. I'm sad that the girl from the USA who is Lumi doesn't proofread. XD

Star Surfer: OMG. The waves in the beginning are so soothing. Introduction instrumentals are sort of peppy and an electro/acoustic mix. This song is kinda like Heavenly Star's slightly less pretty twin. I used to think the verses didn't fit the chorus, but the chorus is just more energized as opposed to the more laidback verses. D: The bridge in this is so trancy. LOL.

Never Ever: OMG SAD. :[ I didn't really expect them to have a ballad like this sort of thing... piano and synth strings only. Wah! Makes me want to cry. Definitely my favorite track on this album. English -> Japanese is too Angela Aki's "Kiss from a Rose" for me. D: I LIKED IT IN ENGLISH. Oh well, BEAUTIFUL ANYWAAAY. LOVE ITTTT. THE STRINGS ARE SO GORGEOUS <3333

Fly!: Oh no, it's starting out really American. WOAH WHY IS HER VOICE SO WEIRD. "I'M FEELING FRESH IN THE CLEAR BLUE SOMETHING." Seriously, what the heck happened to her voice? It got really nasally. Okay song, but definitely not as good as some of the other tracks.

Star Line (Japanese Version), Breeze (Remixes): It's so strange hearing it in Japanese. I like it though. Seems like it was written in Japanese first and then switched to English.. D: Remixes are as hot as you'd expect them to be. Breeze is just so amazing that it doesn't matter who remixes it. Woah wtf, LATIN SUMMER AFTERNOON? XD

Anyway.. Was it Never Ever that I heard.. That goes half way into Japanese lyrics? Oh and how long is the entire album--minutes wise?

And yeah.. I think the Star Breeze is aiight.. But I like the Kaskade and the Breeze summer afternoon mix, mixed by Dj Kazuo more than the breeze remixes... So when I upload the album to my zune when I get it--I'm replacing the last two tracks..

I've done a bit of researching myself.. and found out that the other vocalist for "Lumi" is Nami Miyahara.

As for the Rachel Rhodes chick.. Yeah she is the other vocalist.. But there is no way she could be the model who poses in breeze/star line, and on the album cover and pages.. They look totally different imo..

oh sheit.. I just realized the heavenly star model is the same one as the breeze one.. I always thought the HS model was different from the breeze/star line..


I had to pause it right around 3:02 to see her (Rachel Rhodes) jumping to look like that.. I'm kinda baffled though.. if you pause the video with her on the screen every few centi seconds.. you an actually see the real body of hers instead of rendered drawing...

Yeah.. I just realized that.. when I was looking at the heavenly star and breeze vid.. frame by frame and compared to the pics..

Definitely same facial features I agree.. although everything else almost.. looks very different.. She never looks the same in every pic.. lol

the first and 3rd pic make her look euroasian.. But when she models for GR.. she looks 100% asian..

and yeah.. its hard to believe that.. Without the "Take on Me Vid" by A-Ha--GR would have probably never existed...

The A-ha thing was just something that they wanted to do. I'm sure that they would've made the band for Lumines and all that... and the song would've probably done moderately well. [It got a lot of attention from the PV though.]

It definitely wouldn't be the same as it is now. But I still highly doubt GR would have existed without A-ha. The fictional character "Lumi" and the music videos are based off of A-ha's music video.

No, thats not true. All of the PVs so far, have A-ha's Take on Me music video art rendering style. Heavenly Star has the most, but Breeze and Star Line have it too--to a much lesser extent. Just look at "Lumi's hair in Breeze and Star Line...
