Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars (Game Rip) - 02:53:10 !!! [megaupload]
Hi there!
I got a big game rip here. Requested by SoulSlayer, this one runs almost 3 hours! Please note that I couldn't yet assign fitting names to the songs, but it sure took quite some time to tag those 271 files. If anyone knows which song plays in which scene, I'd be interested to add this information to the tags! Also note that the quality is rather poor (22kHz, mono) but that is in fact the original sound quality from the game. (original format: WAV) I have added a playlist which contains a suggestive playing order to round up the rip. ![]() Code:
Enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Alpha23; 06-16-2009 at 07:47 AM. |

Hi pals!
Glad you appreciate my rip! ![]() Does anyone have the English videos o any other language? Because maybe there is a chance to semi-extract the music by combining parts without speech. Else, if you have any games that I also have a rip of but in another language, please share the videos with me, so we can combine them! In theory it can be possible to get a video without speech. Regards, Timo |

Well, I have the game in English (and only just realized after popping in the disc how easily accessible the music was). My WAVs are 176 kbps 11025Hz, though. I hope I didn't give you too much trouble tagging those files.
Assuming you actually tagged them one by one, get ID3-TagIT 3. It has a filename -> tag function. My SMK files are in the SMACKSH and the SMACKSLO folder. They contain files with the same filename, but a few of them have a difference in filesize. When so, I've uploaded the biggest file and marked it with an *. If you need the smaller files too or just all files in both folders, just ask. Well, here are all the video files in SMK format: [Hidden link. Register to see links.] CANDLE.SMK CREDITS.SMK * FERRARI.SMK * FINALE.SMK * GEODROP.SMK GRAVE.SMK HISTORY.SMK INTRO.SMK * IRELAND.SMK * LADDER.SMK MONTFCON.SMK RIVER.SMK SEWER.SMK SPANISH.SMK STEPS.SMK TAPESTRY.SMK * TRUCK.SMK * VULTURE.SMK WELL.SMK * Also, [Hidden link. Register to see links.] a list of my PC games. If there's anything you need from there, just ask. I guess it might be worth noting that King's Quest VI is the CD-ROM version. Missing from that list is Freddy Pharkas Frontier Pharmacist (CD-ROM) since it's a burned game. Last edited by Axersia; 08-24-2007 at 11:58 PM. |

Hi!
As you don't accept private messages, I have to send my requests via post... I've looked through your list of games and apart from needing every game that I don't already have, there are some games that I'd like to request, mainly because I already have songs from the demo or I know that it has good music. These games are: Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon The Moment of Silence Riven: The Sequel to Myst (already have the OST, but need a game rip because of the videos) Syberia Syberia II Thief: Deadly Shadows Thief II: The Metal Age World of Warcraft Ok, that's for now. Best would be to open an FTP server with the install folders of the games, so I could perform the rip myself. Thanks a lot! Regards, Timo |

Right, FTP... Well, I'm behind a router, and I don't have access to the settings of it (of course, I could just reset it, but that's not the point here). Not everybody can just start running an FTP server. :P
Oh and Riven is the DVD version with 2.7 GB of movies. Still want it? Also, Myst is the Masterpiece Edition which has remastered music. Here's some small stuff already: Broken Sword II music clusters and movie smacks [Hidden link. Register to see links.] Thief 1 + 2 sound directories (snd.crf) [Hidden link. Register to see links.] Do you also want the movie files? I mean, they're just mission briefings... I didn't really pay attention to the sound when I watched them though since I was listening to music myself. EDIT: I had my PMs switched on for a while, but I turned them off again because I immediately started recieving PMs that I didn't wanna have. Last edited by Axersia; 08-29-2007 at 08:28 AM. |

Hi!
Thanks a lot - I'll download the files soon. I'm also interested in the movie files that contain music in the background. Can you also tell me the folder structure where the music was located in?A directory and file listing of Riven would be really cool, so I could give you some tips how you can easily rip the complete music! (dir /s >list.txt writes a list of files and dirs from the current folder down the hierarchy into a file list.txt type C:\list.txt, if you are inside your DVD root dir) Regards, Timo |

Yo you got blade runner, I used to have it fully installed on my pc back when hard drives wereway too small to spare that much room for a game, my friend had installed it & it was one of the coolest games plus it worked without the disc, if you can gain access to a ftp or private website with enough traffic, please let me know the link, I would love to play this game again, I had to delete it back then cause my hard drive was lagging a lot.

hey those smks for circle of blood are they the hi quality ones or the lo quality? hi folder is higher quality, I hope that's them hi resolution, the lo is lo resolution for slower pcs. I would like the hi ones if those aren't them, my intro one is corrupt because of a scratch on disc, it sucks.

Hey Axersia,
Can you give me other data files for broken sword, I'm not sure what ones I need, but i think they'd be small files, everytime i click something to pick up like say newspaper the little short vids are screwed up from scratches on disc so they do not play right. if you could upload all the smaller data files I could figure out where they go & replace mine & it should fix problem it might be just the stuff in clusters, but all smaller one's in main directory just in case. I'd really appreciate this if you get time to do it. I would then be able to play the game the way its meant to be again |

Oh, I've been looking everywhere for this! THANK YOU!!! I was just wondering, could you possible put the sendspace one back up? The link has expired, so I am currently downloading the SMK formats but I don't really know if they work on my computer. In advance, thanks.
