    Finding easy listening instrumental pieces

    Hi,

I am looking for a category of instrumentals, whch is easy listening. Some examples are saxophone, piano, guitars, electronics and mixtures and I have download alot of them (from torrents, etc.). However, I would like its genre to be towards the ballad and easy listening side, rather than jazz or hip-hop (which I hate). It also includes easy listening movie soundtracks. But most soundtracks don't belong to this category.

Can you introduce me any more instrumentals of this genre which you think is highly recommended and kind of depressive? I have also the soundtracks of sad animes such as GotF, VotDS, NaTHaT, etc.

I think there is a site somewhere in the net world which features all the instrumentals. Does anyone has any idea?

    Thanks.

How about Robert Miles? I love his first cd.
"There are ignorant people who speak flowery words and take delight in the letter of the law, saying there is nothing else. Their hearts are full of selfish desires, Arjuna. Their idea of heaven is their own enjoyment, and the aim of all their activities is pleasure and power. The fruit of their actions is continual rebirth." - Sri Krishna, from the Bhagavad Gita

The Blade Runner OST by Vangelis is some excellent easy-listening/relaxing music. There are a few other people on the boards who'll testify to this as well.
He had a very ambitious script. I said: Garth, this is a very ambitious script for the money weve got seeing as weve got no money. Its extremely ambitious. We were filming it in my garage I had a big garage but still it was ambitious to film a TV show in a garage.

This is a sad song if ever i heard one. Its from the Anime Samurai Champloo, from a scene where Mugen falls into the ocean.

This series has some great instrumental tracks both happy and sad. This ones exceptional though.

Its called Obokuri~Eeumi by Asazaki Ikue. I hope you enjoy.

I'd have to nominate Icarus Dream Op. 4 by Yngwie Malmsteen.
Neo-Classical rock styled guitarist but the song itself is amazing which is all that really matters.

Easy listening instrumentals, hmm ... try Secret Garden and Tommy Emmanuel, I think you'll like them

@Panda Surf: I like your song packs, they look like they came off one of my own playlists ^^ Emilie Simon, Lamb, Mogwai - all favourites.

I recently borrowed the album "Eden" by Sarah Brightman and it's very good. Maybe you want to give that one a shot.

Sarah McLachlan is (I think) easy listening...

A good ballad by Evanescence is "Good Enough"

...and look up "Eternal" by Evanescence as well. Good piano piece, that one. ^^
