    What was your first love?
The Bold part. It was the Donkey Kong Country Trilogy Soundtrack Series 1, 2, & 3 which is what I was hooked onto.

Definately it was Sonic The Hedgehog 1,2,3 and Monkey Island 1 (PC) I used to put the CD in my PC and listen to the music. It took the Minibosses Brass to get me to start really listening to VG music

It was probably the very first Tomb Raider. I was so excited when I discovered I could play the game disc in a CD player, and I promptly set about recording the CD to a cassette. (I did the same with all the other PSX discs that would actually work in a CD player.)

For me, I would have to say the original Super Mario Bros. Overworld theme and the Invincibility theme got me started, got me humming it for weeks! Next up was that Miniboss theme from Sonic 3 and that's when I know for sure I got hooked!

Yeah, definitely the Super Mario stuff. Especially some in Super Mario 3. Anyone ever play The Longest Journey? I liked the soundtrack from that one. Also works from Bjorn Lynn (Worms).

Megaman 2 (NES), released in 1988, I was only 4-5 years old (born 1984) when I played it but I did hum the tunes every now and then.

Twisted Metal 2 (PSX), released in 1996, really cool soundtrack and an enjoyable game.

Final Fantasy 7 (PSX), need a description here? Don't think so. Got it when I had just turned 13 years old. A very important thing in my life and childhood. Amazing memories and it's just perfection.

Deus Ex (PC), amazing game and story. Soundtrack is very inspirational as well.

The Metal Gear Solid (Playstation 1), Final Fantasy VII, and the original Soul-Blade soundtracks were my first video game OST favorites.

Since I was a kid with the original NES and genesis. Then I remember getting soundtracks for games like seceret of evermore and final fantasy chronicles, FF3, Killer Instinct killer cuts and stuff like that. I also remember buying Donkey Kong Country and rare sent me a soundtrack in the mail which I never purchsed or requested.

Illusion of Gaia.. the song "Legacy of the Ancients". Hands down, no doubt about it. It plays at a pivotal point in the game, and.. it's just amazing.

Dude, David Wise's Donkey Kong music. I was hooked on "Stickerbrush Symphony." I remember pausing my game just to listen to it.
