Michiko Naruke - Wild Arms soundtracks are great
Yasunori Mitsuda - I loved the Chrono Trigger soundtrack, and I wish I had a Wii to hear the music from Brawl.

I was bored so I decided to add up the votes for the best video game composer. For people who listed a million different ones for their favorite, I just used their first listed choice. Here are the voted best video game composers and all the ones who got more than three votes. Mitsuda and Sakuraba left the others in the dust. I know Uematsu would be up there too if it was allowed and maybe Koji Kondo.

    Yasunori Mitsuda 19
    Motoi Sakuraba 17
    Yoko Shimomura 8
    Akira Yamaoka 7
    Michiru Yamane 7
    Yuzo Koshiro 7
    Jeremy Soule 7
    Masashi Hamazau 4
    Koichi Sugiyama 4
    Jesper Kyd 4
    David Wise 3
    Koh Ohtani 3
    Jun Senoue 3
    Miki Higashino 3
    Harry Gregson Williams 3

Definitely Akira Yamaoka for too many reasons... OR Noriyuki Asakura of Tenchu fame.
What is the cure for cancer? The cure for death itself? The answer is immortality. By creating a legacy, by living a life worth remembering you become immortal.
