Lupe Fiasco- Food And Liquor, a solid album, with intellegent lyrics, and good tracks, hopefully a direction that rap will be going in with a few more artists...

yeah, I think so, endorsed by Kanye (as they all are now lol), but yeah the album is pretty good as a whole, I haven't really heard much by him before this album, kind of avoided all the bootlegs and stuff on purpose cos there was a lot of hype building around him, and I didn't wanna have it ruined by not living up to it...but I do like it

they are fairly new rave. and also a teensy little bit like stereolab.

it's a pretty decent album, i haven't listened to it enough yet to make a final decision though.

The last bunch of albums I bought was

Darren Hanlon - Fingertips and Mountaintops
    Darren Hanlon - Hiccups EP
Plus a free sampler from Candle Records, the fine label I ordered it from!

And I am soon going to order a stack of 5 early Mountain Goats albums because they are being sold for cheap!
"Sonic we'd better stay here and..." too late Sonic was already gone "oh no" muttred Sally as Sonic sped down the cliff's path. Below Amy was already trying to stop the unseen attacker while Sonic sped to Tails rescue. BAM!!! Sonic hit the attacker with a spin-dash "AGGGHHHHH!!!" he roared whoever this was he was'nt a badnik.Tails body fell to the floor as Sally arrived at the scene , Sally and Amy helped Tails escape while Sonic kept fighting, suddenly the attacker hit Sonic with two huge Knuckles, a tooth came flying out of Sonic's mouth "OUCH" said Sonic , blood streaming from his mouth. "KNUCKLES!" Sonic yelled hitting the attacker hard "WHAT DO YOU WANT?"....

"I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here." - Mitch Hedburg

Indeed! Happiness is a Chemical is a fine song. The original acoustic version has its own charm too. And have you seen the video? Also marvellous.

I saw Sarah Blasko at a music festival here yesterday. Her set was definitely a highlight. *swoon*

I will have to check out the rest of her new album, as I've only heard the single, the name of which escapes me...but it's growing on me!

    Oh man oh man.

Picked up some fucking rare Flaming Lips stuff. Never thought I'd see it in a shop.

Although one of them was bought online ;(

Flaming Lips - In a Priest Driven Ambulance
Flaming Lips - Hear It Is
    Flaming Lips - Telepathic Surgery
Flaming Lips - Shambolic Birth and Early Life Of..

    Now I'm pretty much broke.

...Until after I go see them.

    Haha.
