LA JETEE, QUATERMASS BBC, TREVOR DUNCAN

Three LA JETEE tracks by Trevor Duncan, plus the long sought-after choral cue can be found on the Cherry Red compilation CD, "World Cinema In The 60s: Volume One (Various Artists)"(2014).
    01. Krestu Tvoyemu, AKA Tropaire en l’honneur de la Sainte Croix, AKA Troparion to the Holy Cross. Composer: Piotr Goncharov
    02. The Girl- Prologue
    03. The Girl- Theme
    04. Vastness Of Space
PM me for Flac upload of the 4 cues. I've included "Martian Armada" mp3 (last few seconds seemed to have been used in JETEE).
FYI the two "Girl" tracks above were released earlier on "The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes"(2005)(Christopher Slaski) CD or download.

Here's an 128 kbps MP3 collection of cues from LA JETEE, 1950s BBC QUATERMASS series, and general scifi sounding cues. Low bit rate because they are cache downloads from library sites. Not a complete collection of cues from those films. Library sources are noted in mp3.

1-5. La Jetee (some partially used)
    6-19. Misc. Sci-Fi cues
    20-25. "Outer Space"
    26-57. "Quatermass Suite"
    58-66. Misc. Quatermass cues
Specific track names in spoiler section:
    Spoiler!

You can now find lossless uploads of all three QUATERMASS TV serials from member Funky1&2:

Read the threads before PMing me questions or for links. If you find dead links and want the files re-uploaded, send me the thread URL (not the download links) and I will try to do it. New upload links will no longer be displayed since most of my MEGA links were deactivated by someone here on Oct.24, 2016.

Great Music! Some of the Trevor Duncan cues were used in the old Marvel Superheroes cartoons from the 1960's, somehow they sounded perfect even with the limited animation. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for this- I always thought that the Quatermass & the Pit serial had music specially composed for it- nice to have a collection of Mr Duncan's atmospheric snippets. Many thanks

Don't know how I missed this until now as I love 50's library music.

The music used in La Jetee, "The Girl- Prologue" in particulary, is the most hauntingly beatiful piece of music I've ever heard. and how they used it in the movie is just perfect.
    Thanks for the great share!
