My first RPG was Phantasy Star II For the sega genisis. O' it was wonderful, I recently got a gameboy advance version of it that includes, I, II, and III. It is awesome. They are all great games and are were huge steps in the RPG gameing world. I think Phantasy Star I was the first ever RPG were you could SAVE your game, oooooo, aahhhh! That was playable on the Atari. Hee hee old school ay?

    Happy posting!

As far as console games go, obviously it is Dragon Warrior I, as I said, and it couldn't really be any other game because it was the first RPG for a consol, ever. As it stands Dragon Warrior IV is still my favorite RPG to this day.
    HAHA!
    I remember Hero Quest!
I got that game for my 6th birthday!
    O joy!

Buck rogers 'countdown to doomsday' for the Megadrive/Genesis.

and interesting note: When i heard FF7 was coming out I thought it was a sequal to Phantasy star before realising the names were different. I'd never heard of Final fantasy before 7 being British and all.

Sadly enough my i didn't play an rpg until ffix and the first one i owned was ffx. Now in only 2 years ive become a total rpg freak who plays any rpg, even the crappy ones, and especially the oldschool ones like SM RPG and ff 1-6.

FF1 was my first RPG. I was like, nine, when I got it, and I was so hooked on it. My folks had to take my NES away from me b/c I wouldn't do my homework or ANYTHING else but play FF. And THEN I got my hands on FFVI for SNES. I went from gamer to full-on hardcore RPG'er in about .9 seconds. I still get goosebumps in the opening scene of FFVI-the music is just uber.

Well my first was Breath of Fire II for the Super Nintendo..God i loved that game, it's what amde me a hardcore RPGer lol, and i adore rpgs, they are to much fun, and just as with CyanCyde, i also get goosebumps when i hear the music, it was really cool

And Ryu from BoFII also kinda fascinated me, as well as the battle system at that time I was about 8 years old and got so hooked up with it, i played it the whole day

My 2nd RPG, and today my favorite, is FFVII, it has always been and will stay the best for me in all eternity ^_^ it's my fav rpg, with BoFII being second definetly
