Please help us to get like 5,000 to realese the expanded score

[Hidden link. Register to see links.]

To: Record/CD Company

This petition is being written to Warner Brothers/Reprise records to request for a full (or at least expanded) release of the 2009 film score to the movie "Transformers: Revenge of Fallen", composed by Steve Jablonsky.* The movie for the first film was incredible (almost a full hour of CD music), however the music on the CD release for the second lacked the power and excitement heard in the first. Watching the movie itself, there are many peices of music that were excluded in the CD release.

As a film score and Jablonsky fan, I believe an additional release of the music is in order. Please consider this petition; thank you!

*Note: Hans Zimmer, Lorne Balfe, and any others involved in the making of this incredible score should also be recognized for their talent and assistance.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned

Could anyone do a lossless gamerip of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess? I know that there is an original soundtrack for the game but it consists of 7 tracks only. Thanks!

Yeah it's depressing how officially lame and pointless a 7-track soundtrack is for a game that contains music 10-times that many.

It's disrespectful to fans and to the respect of the game itself. Especially after the entirely awesome job Nintendo did with Mario Galaxy's ost.

But, I have not seen a lossless rip of TP yet.

I agree. Nintendo needs to learn that fans want to buy the music. Think of all the zelda soundtracks they would have sold if they gave it an official release in the US and not just in Japan.

This isn't my rip, but it checks out to be lossless. Just as a note, Square decided to cut off the loudness for Gackt's REDEMPTION for some reason, so it sounds weird in terms of loudness when you get to the chorus. You can actually hear it being turned down, then back up again. Check it out in Audition or a similar program if you're confused, but this is present on the soundtrack, and is not a result of ripping.

Props to whoever ripped this, by the way.

Let's hope that for Zelda Wii, like Galaxy, they go orchestral. They need to put Mahito Yokota on the job again, seeing as Koji Kondo takes more of a hands off role these days. The score for TP has its moments, but overall felt pretty uninspired to me (much like everything else in the game come to think of it). The Morricone homage for the Hidden Village is fun, and the final section of the credits music is one of the most beautiful, subtle compositions in a Zelda game - it's an ethereal string elegy that sort of comes out of nowhere after the rather one-dimensional statement of the main theme - a real apotheosis!

SPOILER: [Hidden link. Register to see links.]

*sigh*

i see what your saying, but sometimes a release is for the listening experience. its better to have 7 of the best tracks and have them edited in a way that's for listening rather than the complete score with all the pointless ambience and 30 second tracks.

a nice example is the 1st matrix album. it was edited to the point where the action cues mixed together for a better listen then the deluxe expanded score felt padded out with many shorter tracks and inconsistant melodies.

i agree with you that it can suck that sometimes a release can not feature your favourite tracks [like starship troopers] but like final fantasy as a nice example as well as lost odyssey, they are littered with filler and horrible tracks that contrast against the few but awesome piano and orchestral tracks.

CyberSpark, could you ask him if he could rip Perfect Dark in lossless then? Since the guy who promised us to rip some really nice soundtracks haven't showed up since he made that post

In my opinion, for being only 7 tracks of Twilight Princess' as a soundtrack, I think they made a pretty sucky choice of songs. Also, most of the game soundtracks are often about 2~ minutes or longer, depending on what kind of tracks we're talking about, "action" tracks are often 30 seconds, maybe - but actual songs are often, as said 2~ minutes or longer.

Imo I think they should've included "Queen Rutela" in the TP soundtrack, that has got to be one of the most beautiful soundtracks I have ever heard.

To be honest with ya, I feel uncomfortable requesting soundtracks from him that I've never even heard before. Besides which, I haven't requested anything from him in a while since he has already filled many of my requests, all of which can found at VGMU.

You could ask him directly for the soundtracks that You are interested in via PM. @TheAxeGrinder, aren't you already a member of VGMU?

Anyway, like said, I just don't feel comfortable asking the guy for more music at this time and especially for music that I've never even heard, but maybe he will accept requests from someone else.

Thanks for uploading this. It's a shame about Redemption, because it's my second favorite song after Longing.
I'll look into that one. I'll also upload the LE DVD single by Gackt that includes Redemption and Longing. It seems whoever mastered the single upped the levels a bit more, but again, when the chorus kicks in, they dialed it back. Fortunately, they pushed the levels higher than in the DoC OST, so it's not as noticeable. It's definitely the better version. Again, it's not my rip, but it checks out ok in Audition.

Prime Blue's rip of Twilight Princess was released in FLAC, too, just less officially. The track names are different to his regular rip, so presumably you'd want to change them if you were that worried about that sort of thing. I'll upload them as they are, though, since there seems to be demand for them(and I haven't contributed anything here otherwise). It's about 1.5 gig, though, so it'll be a few days before I get it all up due to rather slow upload speed in Australia... Since the credits music didn't feel like fitting in with the other files, I'll post it here for you in about half an hour.

Prime Blue's rip, though, so all credit goes to him.
