You need to rip it with EAC as vedderito3 said just now. You also need to have EAC set up correctly and to do the ripping correctly. Not hard-to-do per se but there is a particular process. Follow the guide that vedderito3 posted.

In any event I do have the original CD of the DESPERADO soundtrack (Epic/Sony Music Soundtrax EK 67294) but I say we give badnfluenz another go at it. However "worse case scenario" I would be happy to rip mine proper and post it.

On a related note ... what freakin' moron ripped that FSM release of STAR TREK II because although posted by protium that surely wasn't ripped by him.

1.) The file names in the CUE Sheet do NOT match the file names of the FLAC files. In the CUE Sheet each file name ends in "- James Horner" but luckily I was able to easily edit the file names using MP3TAG via a batch process. Fairly harmless and not too time consuming but a PITA.

2.) Despite using MP3TAG to add "- James Horner" to the end of each file there were still several file names that didn't match up ... I think there were like 3 or 4 mismatches still ... so I had to manually edit the CUE Sheet file. Very annoying.

3.) The EAC LOG file is a disaster. I ran it through a log file checker which returned a 60% score out of a possible 100% (perfect) score. Problems with the LOG include:

* "Defaut audio cache" should be yes (-5 points)
* C2 pointers were used (-10 points)
* Null samples should be used in CRC calculations (-15 points)
* Test and copy was not used (-10 points)

I really wish people incapable of doing things correctly would not bother uploading things.

Man, that was one weird ass film. I remember going to see that in the cinema when it was first released. I came out of the screening thinking to myself ''What the fuck did I just watch?'' lol

Marlon Brando's character - Dr. Moreau was about a million miles away from Don Corleone or Colonel Kurtz.

The whole thing was just odd!

Noticed there's a lossy two cd set (MP3) on this forum too so will give that a go too. Think it's a mixture of the original LP and the re-recording by the looks of it.

I have 1979 Amityville Horror but some of the tracks do start to slightly crackle when reaching their peak level; but it is lossless. I also have a very clean edition of Children of The Corn (Mint Edition) but its mp3/192. If you want me to upload any, let me know.
