Isn't there a complete score version of 1492 without sound effects?
So far the only scores that have been at least partially leaked are Blade Runner, The Bounty and Missing. Everything else, including 1492 can only be sourced from dvds, vhs, laserdisc, etc...
While peeping at my friend's Vangelis backup I came across the same version as posted by zyzz but with some tiny extra bits added. The archive is including the 2 bonus tracks on the OWM2000 version that ended up to be added on the FIC release to this 24 tracks promotional cd of the music Vangelis composed for the soundtrack of Missing in late 1981.
The FLAC's appears to be exactly the same but his version had the .log and .cue files along with some alternate covers as well. I added an extra .cue of the cd I inserted in the cd tray since the CDDB database just gave different track names (mostly according to the FIC release I believe) for the alternative versions of the last tracks.

So you might want to add this to the archive already posted by zyzz if you please.![]()

Here's something a bit different...
In 1975, Vangelis composed the score for a Mexican film called ¿No Oyes Ladrar los Perros? (in French, Entends-tu les chiens aboyer ?). This was released as the album Ignacio.
Having previously worked with director Frédéric Rossif on L'Apocalypse des animaux (1973), Vangelis scored his nature documentary La Fête sauvage in 1976. An album of the same name followed. (They would go on to collaborate on Opéra sauvage (1979) and Sauvage et Beau (1984).)
Here's where the fun begins. When the respective LP's were released, the B-sides of each contained pieces of the other score. When they were mastered for CD, the LP's were either combined into a single giant track, or were split into two tracks representing each LP side, but in both cases, the original mistakes were preserved.
• Ignacio was A) Entends, Part 1, and B) La Fête sauvage, Part 2.
• La Fête sauvage was A) La Fête sauvage, Part 1, and B) Entends, Part 2.
This error persisted across every release I've heard, through the late-'90's.
If anyone's interested, I've made corrected FLAC versions of each score, with embedded cover art from the CAM releases (for no other reason than I liked the covers).

If anyone runs across a lossless version of Sauvage et Beau, please post. I've heard mp3's and it's just great.
The main theme appeared on the 1996 Portraits compilation, and I've seen art for Sauvage et Beau with the same woman-shielding-her-eyes art that was used for the cover of Portraits. My guess is that there was a single release for Sauvage et Beau when Portraits was released, and someone slapped it on the mp3's for a promo of the Sauvage et Beau documentary score.
Do you mean this?

Sorry for the mess but I'm new here. For quite some time'm a fan of Vangelis and i am very glad that there is a place where you can share his beautiful music.![]()
Welcome aboard Polifem.
No -- those tracks are all from Portraits, so this must be a single.
I'm talking about this--

The one you are referring to is the bootleg version lifted from the documentary (including the dialogues).
Here's the ed2k link to the mp3 version:
