Not up-to-date on most politics outside of my state, so I can't comment on that, but I try to separate the artist from their personal life. Which is why I can still enjoy a Mel Gibson or Roman Polanski film with a straight face.

This is true, I have a problem dealing with Mel's movies as well, but it's sort of type casting with "Payback" and some of the others. He's more like his old asshole self in those movies!

Well, I try to avoid celebrity news too. I do not wanna be thinking about the performer when watching the movie.It is particularly uncomfortable for me when a cast like the Trek actors tears at each other, and squabbles the way they do, then in a movie they are playing characters who all respect and love each other. Just...ew.

But yea, Arnie sure messed up in regards to his marriage. I will never understand that. He essentially had it all, and still went for more. ???? As to the politics, dunno much about that.

There are actors, however, that have just become so big that it definitely does interfere with their films, no matter how talented they are.

People like Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, even Harrison Ford. I don't see their characters, I just see them. Which is unfortunate.
