Repo Men (Deluxe Edition)
Kudos to FunnyML
30 tracks, TRT: 1:23:54, FLAC (lossy source)
Note: having never saw this film, I'm not one to turn down the opportunity to listen to a new Marco Beltrami complete score anyway. This leaked by FunnyML in 2012 and I happened to just now stumble upon it. I had heard of the film but didn't watch it. It's not Beltrami's best but with this deluxe edition, it is my aim to enhance the experience and to make it sound a little more flowing and less of a task to sit through.
To accomplish this, I (of course) removed all silences before and after each track along with mixing several smaller tracks together. Some complete scores (ala Shearmur's Sky Captain) sound good without the need of any editing (apart from removing the silences) while this score offered many interesting transitions that helped enhance the flow which I couldn't pass up on. The untouched source was 95 minutes, my final render brought it to almost 84 minutes. All the music from the complete score is here and it sounds better (to my ears) in this form than just simply removing the silences and letting each track remain its own track.
The order is chronological but as far as if the cues I mixed together really needed to go together, that's up to you guys and gals. It sounds fine to me in this form regardless.
Final render is in lossy FLAC due to only source being in 320 MP3. No true lossless versions have shown up that I can find.
P.S. I know I've been gone for a long time and I apologize. It's been a VERY rough time and during this time, I've been overindulging in music which I am getting around to sharing again with you fine guys and gals. It's been my drug to get me through. Time is still a commodity that I have very little of so don't expect too many uploads at first but as I get time, I will be making uploads.
