Your more than likely thinking of the Shoot Em Ups, after all there are 13 tracks on that one of the Lone Ranger.

Much of it is gone I am sure, although about 12 years ago or so there were some CD's available of some original music.

Woody Langley did a great job. The three volumes contain the following ...

Volume I ... King of the Texas Rangers (17 cues and 1 out take) and Secret Service in Darkest Africa (28 cues and 1 out take) [you can imagine Duke Green leaping all over the place]

Volume II ... Daredevils of the Red Circle (11 cues and 1 out take); Mysterious Dr. Satan (7 cues and 1 out take you actually hear Cy Feuer); Spy Smasher (3 cues)

Volume III ... The Masked Marvel (26 cues and 1 out take) and Captain America (26 cues and 1 out take)

Volume II had a price tag of $50 and Volume III was $40.

Each came directly from the surviving acetates used by Republic to record their music. Each cd brings a very informative brochure with some photos. Unfortunately the photos are very small and not very clear but you can make out what is described.

Comparing these with the works of James King is difficult. Although Mr. King did a wonderful job, the three cds actually contain the Republic musicians doing what they did best. Mr. King's orchestration and recording technology gives an excellent reproduction. However, there is a "feeling" missing in his cds. But I respect his efforts and have his works.

By the way, he also produced the following:
Shoot Em Ups (Republic western music)cd (1996)
    Cliffhangers (serials) cd (1996)
Music of Republic: The Early Years, 1937-1941 (record [1000 copies printed 1985], have not seeing this as a cd)
The Music of the Lone Ranger
    Concert At Lone Pine
    Republic Sound (private recording)
Checking Disc Cues, Volumes I, II,and III

The contact way back then was:

    Woody at Cleffhangers (that's correct),
    13949 Morrison St.
    Sherman Oaks, CA 91432.

Well as you know these are all re-recordings on these CD's conducted by James King.

Perhaps this is an oversight, but I'm afraid I haven't received the links for Shoot 'em ups and Cliffhangers, which I've requested twice since 07-13.
    Am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks.

Try as I might, I can't download it, always get:

"All download slots for this file are currently filled.
    Please try again momentarily."

Tried dozens of times over three days, always the same result. The other album downloaded on the first try.
