cowboy bebop, when ed leaves, faye remembers her past, spike dies, and everything leading up to the end.
kodocha (or kodo no omocha) when akito leaves.
Cyborg 009's ending really made me cry.....alot......strangely. It was quite saddening.
Call me when I'm needed
I will help
Call me when your sick
I'll be there
Call me when your dying
I'll lay your final words to rest
But call me when you lie and decieve
And I'll hate you forever.............
Saddest for me?
Gundam SEED Destiny, just because it started with so much potential and turned into a Jesus Yamato Circle Jerk.
Wait, that's not saddness, it's RAGE!

there were many shows that i saw that made me feel kinda sad *spoiler free*
koi kaze (the plot and the irony at the last episode)
jigoku shoujo (both season's ending)
the place promised in our early days (this one made me tear a little)
full moon wo sagashite (ending)
shingetsutan tsukihime (ending)
kashimashi ~girl meets girl~ (last 3 episodesi, i'd rather pretend the ova never existed)
byosoku 5 centimetres (watched onli the first part though)
elfen lied (the sad ending left me in tears)
cowboy bebop (faye's ending haunted me for a while)
Cowboy Bebop gave me a strange, deep sad feeling, like loosing a good friend or something. Also listening to the OSTs alone gives me the blues.
Grave of the Fireflies was one of the saddest I've seen in awhile, Voices of a Distant Star comes in a close second though.
" Look ye into the darkness, and ye shall find me there - a me that you have never known. "
*major spoiler for cowboy bebop series and movie*
cowboy bebop is the ultimate in sad. in the movie when the lady kills her love thinking he would shot her and they could be together but he remembers he loves her and tells her it almost made me bawl and as for the series. the saddest part was not the end it was how that whore julia broke up vicious and spike's friendship, and when the saxaphonist died. basically the only happy parts were when julia died and thethe part at the end where spike and vicious were taken to the hospital and resumed their friendship. (i know they didn't show it but it happened they just forgot to end the series)
It is best to do and say fuck it instead of do and ask forgiveness.
Why the fuck are you making a double post to reply to someone who made one damn post six fucking months ago and hasn't been seen since? Don't do that.
Well, the saddest anime I've watched from beginning to end, would have to be Air (By Key Studios)...
Some other anime I have watched, also have sad endings, but that one in particular...
Fullmetal Alchemist (the series not including the movie!!!)
Naruto episode 19....
~If possible.... i'd like to go to the same place you're going to.... *sadness and sorrow.mp3 which, of course, i can perfectly play on keyboard :]*
God... best dramatic scene i'ver ever seen in my life.
Too many classic sad scenes in anaime and gaming... Final Fantasy tactics made me cry at the end, and I was pretty shocked and saddened throughout the entire game as you watched several very human characters get killed off or suffer a loss so suddenly at every turn. Delita, Ovelia, and Ramza's tragedy's being the foremost as the most saddening of it all.
Other notable one's are Tekkaman's Blade's story, and what happened to all his freinds and family. The fate of his sister was most haunting of them all.
Guyver had a number of sad tragedy's too, both in manga and in Anime. They were simple, but overly complex, any one who remembers the Tragedy of Enzyme II, Murikami's life are good examples.
Coyboy bebop, well you've people already spoiled that one, and Trigun (anime) as well.
Devilman, if you don't know how it ends, then try and locate the anime or manga ending... it was a horribly sad event, especialy with his girlfriend and bestfriend.
"X" though it's incomplete, and them both the movie and anime were too damn short, every character has a tragedy, and I've sure there is at least one scene you'd cry over.
Ninja Gaiden for the NES, had one of the sadder moments in early NES story telling. Ryu and his father's struggle's are sad, especialy with all the effort Ryu put into avenging his father's death, only to be forced o fight him later. Afterwords... you're going to have to play the game.
i would have to say that
grave of the fireflies
is one of the saddest animes made
i cry when ever i turn it on
other than that i would have to say
neon genesis evangelion altogethers is a sad series
how much eveyone suffers
and how shinji dose nothing at all
Naruto for me.
I somehow doubt those who have watched Naruto dont know this, but Ill post a spoiler warning anyway.
When Zabuza and Haku died.
Kadaj: But... The Planet doesn't approve of that at all. It's doing everything it can to hold us back. That's why it's racking our bodies with pain and filling our hearts with doubt. Now, I should heal you. We will join as a family and strike back at the planet!

From what I remember, I cried watching two animes.
In Naruto, it was pretty sad and upsetting when Naruto was an outcast in the village and Gaara's childhood.
Fruit Basket was just sad.
I don't have a reason...
and you don't have the time.
Currently playing: Final Fantasy XII

I'm mainly a manga man, but the saddest anime has got to be AIR!
for those of you who have watched it, you know what I mean...
hokuto no ken, its sad to see every one of ken friends get wasted, but u know it is to be expected, lol
The saddest anime for me has to be Air. I cried through half the series. [couldn't describe the situations without spoiling the series for those who didn't finish it.]
