Most Hated Character in FFXIII (Contains Endgame Spoilers)

Basically what the title say's. My vote is for Snow. I hated his guts since all he would whine about is being the hero and Serah. He was also weird because he wanted to marry Serah who looked like she was 15; which ain't right in my books.

Judging from the attitudes of people on these boards, I guess that Vanille will get the most votes.

I didn't vote for her because I liked having her as the narrator since she is a liar to begin with; so the player is getting a doctored story; which I felt was very smart to do. I would have voted for her since she is over-sexualized. She could have been a really great character if she didn't make a battle sound like a porno.

She's 19, being oversexualized isn't a super problem. Plus there is meta humor about fanservice with Snow and Sazh being gonked over it.

I'd have to say I like Light the least. She's basically Squall 2.0 and her coming around to be more caring and warm sounds laughable since she actually has a voice actress. Thank goodness Squall never had one in the main lineage.

Also, the Snow size issue isn't because she's young and he's old, it's because he's just that big.

Yes there isn't a big age difference but when you look at them together, it looks illegal. And that is something I can't get over no matter how old the game tells me they are. If Serah had a different design that makes her look older then Snow wouldn't get so much hate from me.

Not saying it can't bother you. My gonk profile is amazingly inconsistent, to the point that people tend to call me a hypocrite on sexual matters. I completely understand how it can be distracting or weird for people. Just isn't for me.

This kind of question requires strong feeling for the game - negative feeling, but strong nontheless. And FF13 simply wasn't a game that people felt strongly about one way or the other.

Expectations for FF13 were at rock bottom when it came out, largely because of the rumours of no towns and linearity etc. There were so many people who were just hoping it would be awful.

The reality however is that whilst the game certainly hasn't been the smash hit that has revived and rejuvenated the series, it hasn't generated any real or lasting sense of hatred.

The sad fact is that FF is not deemed worthy of expending such effort over these days.

It's name ensures that it will get healthy sales from curious ex-fans, but unless it was the Second Coming of gaming, they were unlikely to care much and abandoned it to play the 6 other chronically overhyped 8/10+ games they'd bought in the last fortnight.

The game wasn't so great it proved its early critics wrong, nor was it so excruciatingly bad that it inspired people to hate on it.

So the answer to the question on this thread is... meh.

I don't detest Snow, but I do dislike his constant speeches of heroism and Serah dispersed throughout the game. Overall, he can be annoying, but I can sympathize.
