    Tales Series Music Thread

    UPDATE: It was recently brought to my attention that most of the links that used to be below were no longer active. I apologize that I don't have the time to reupload these soundtracks. Please check later pages of this thread to see if anyone individually uploads anything, particularly new releases as they come out.

    Many of the other big series have their own threads (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Mega Man, etc.), so I figured it was time to make a Tales one.

    I plan on uploading several of the soundtracks over the next few days, but I could really use some help. If anyone has any of these, please upload it in the highest quality possible and I'll update my post here when I get a chance to include your link if you want it used. Ideally, I'd like to have a lossless and an mp3 version of each. I only have access to a couple of the CDs to rip as lossless, so any help on that front would be great.

    Just as a tip to keep links active, if you use something like Megaupload, name the file as something inconspicuous, like an abbreviation or something. The links shouldn't be taken down that way.

    I already had this uploaded. Tales 10th Anniversary is in 320cbr and the Tales of Destiny Directors Cut Premium Box Special Soundtrack that i have uploaded is only 128cbr though. The Tales of VS. rip is also uploaded, if you want to add that.


    Please don't ask me for lossless rips/reuploads, i don't have the net anymore to do them.

    Yeah, use Megaupload. Just make sure that you don't name the file with the actual name or include "OST" or "soundtrack" in it. What I do is name my rar files and their descriptions as abbreviations, so Tales of Symphonia is ToS.rar and the description is ToS.

    Mewsie, did you get the Tales of Destiny 2 soundtrack from Abyssal Chronicles as well? 'Cause their disc 3 part 3 .rar is missing, and I've been checking back there for months to see if they fixed it, and they haven't. ;[

    I love whomever ripped this. So much. Shame that they're not tagged, but I don't care.

    Go Shiina's take on the Tales of Destiny 2 battle music is just beautiful.

    Oh, I have physical copies of the [Hidden link. Register to see links.] and the [Hidden link. Register to see links.], however, the Phantasia OST has some incorrect timings for the songs when I ripped it...I don't know if a rerip of the actual discs will do anything to correct that.

    I did that rip of Tales of Vs.

    If the timing is off for Tales of Phantasia then chances are it's a game rip, unless the times are off by a second.

    Er, I actually own the soundtracks I listed. As in physical CDs. I should edit my previous post to reflect that, heh...

    I'm reripping the Eternia one, because for some strange reason the tracks were WMA...
