MU is funny, I've got things going back about 2 or 3 years now.
Rapidshare.com is terrible. It used to be fairly reliable but now you can hardly ever download a file there.

I wanna tell You about really good file hosting - LETITBIT.NET
Here is some reasons why i'm using it for more than a year:
1) While using free download, download speed is near 100 Kb/sec (or even more)
2) There is no limits for IP
3) I can earn some money (not much but i'm using them for buying premium membership on different sites)

MU has quite often got a download speed (at least for me) of about 350kbps at best (although not all the time). Firefox seems to help that.
When I first started downloading from Letitbit about a year ago I had fast downloads around 190 kbps but now it's so slooooow at around 50 kbps. That is 56k speed on a dsl modem which normally goes to 1.5 gbps. That's why I always pick your deposit links instead Porko...limited downloads but still fast.
I really love Megaupload...I did not used to but they have improved greatly over the past couple of years.

By the way in my opinion the most popular uploading site is deposit files ([Hidden link. Register to see links.])
I recommend using MassMirror. I just recently found it.
The good thing about massmirror is you upload to a multitude of websites at once with a year of activity.
Free File Hosting Features
File Lifetime: 365 days (Based Per Mirror)
Max File Size: 1 GB
Traffic: Unlimited
Speed: Limited Per Each Mirror

these are roughly in order of preference, ie, the ones I consider best are listed first (though you're free to comment, suggest new services, etc).
megaupload - max file size 250mb, files last for 30 days.
that's the only "big one" that has a long retention rate.
[Hidden link. Register to see links.] - files last for 7 days without activity, speed capped (?)
[Hidden link. Register to see links.] - recently changed to 7 day file expiration, sendspace is probably better
some ones that haven't really been tried out but may work well (let us know ~):

[Hidden link. Register to see links.] (claims 500mb file sizes, 30 day expiration-- sounds good)
[Hidden link. Register to see links.] (100mb, lasts 30 days)

The new site that i'm enjoying using of is [Hidden link. Register to see links.]

Great speed with jDownloader!
Guys Plz
4shared.com Is The Best Site !! Everyone Can Download From It ... Plus It Saves Your Files For a Long time
Could try out [Hidden link. Register to see links.]. Uploads to 14 separate download locations. Not sure if they'd appreciate music sharing, though.
EDIT: It's confirmed that links will only be removed if the copyright holder files a complaint against a download. This could be a good service for GH.
gigasize is still a 300 MB file size, but I believe it may only be 20 days now. I haven't gotten any complaints from my WoW uploads though so I imagine it is OK to use when you have to have BIG files.
Thanks [Hidden link. Register to see links.] may I share my own here
For my own files, I use Fileden and MediaFire. FileDen gives direct downloads and MediaFire doesn't have waiting times or other fudgeries.
i use mediafire and 4shared. if you log into your 4shared winthin every 30 days it keeps your files and shared files !
MediaFire is without doubt the best host for files under 200 MB.
I suggest you check out the music at supaswap dot info
