Or if you want a fast way to create a spectrogram, try this : [Hidden link. Register to see links.]
(;
You don't need those at all. A simple Foobar plugin (or it was already built-in) is enough.
Processing...
say the name of this foobar plugin to see the spectrogram.
thx in advance
Akumajo Dracula Best Music Collections BOX CD 17
EAC | FLAC | CUE | LOG
01-24: Castlevania: The Arcade (Arcade); 25-36: Akumajo Dracula: The Medal (Slot Machine)
Finally, my PC is running again and i have a new 1TB External Harddrive, I can finally begin to rip my Akumajo DraculaBest Music Collections Box...
but my holidays are over and I (most likely) won't be able to rip and/or upload the Rest
until the winter holidays (Uploading just takes far to long for me, about 3 hours for 1 CD).
I will however try to upload CD 18 this weekend. I just wanted to get CD 17 and 18 up first because the games that
are on the other CDs have their own Soundtrack Releases, which are mostly much more complete.
This is my second CD Rip via EAC (using majinpvegeta Ripping Guide), but i didn't receive any feedback to it, so please,
tell me if this is a good Rip or if i did something wrong.

if you mean visualizations > spectrogram in default ui, that doesn't seem like it'd be an immensely reliable way to go about analysis.
I love this thread so much. Thank you guys for all the great contributions.
It doesnt show the numbers, but obviously if the spikes reach the top then you've got yourself a lossless track. Otherwise, audacity has one (albeit it doesn't show where in the song the frequencies hit lossless), as does Exact Audio Copy - what people in this thread are most likely, and probably should be, using.

Spoiler!
If you are using Foobar's native spectrogram, make sure to change into linear scale. The spikes are more identifiable this way.
So has anyone done a 1:1 comparison of those collected Famicom GSM rips with a verified rip? Care to share the results? It's kind of important to know as the collection is being shared elsewhere, and if it's a lossy transcode we need to get rid of it ASAP.
You know, it's helpful if you read a post before replying to it.
Agreed, though I still find the spectrogram in CoolEdit/Audition to be the most useful, personally.
Could you not quote absolutely huge posts full of images?
Exactly, a simple quote of the post with only the album titles would have sufficed. Better yet, PM the uploader.
Sorry, but I have to ask - why hasn't Audiochecker been mentioned at all? (I always use a combination of a spectral analyser + AC) Should I not be using it? (for whatever reason)
