Let's do the Timewarp

Timewarp as most know it is our dark theme, check it out.

I'm still working on it but any feedback would be greatly appreciated and will be taken into consideration in further bettering it.

Looks like the most of it is working right.

Except for a little bug with the placement of the folder icons in the settings and some problems with the backgrounds in the Profile area and the friend list disappeared.

Is this the old version of Timewarp? I had gotten so used to that last version.

Nice job, Izanami. And thanks for your quick work.

Is there any way to make the default text of the new Timewarp white, though? The light gray on dark gray is difficult to read, and there's no way for me to revert back to the broken Timewarp with the invisible links.

I'd prefer the old white text for the forum links at the top, too--meaning the What's New? button, the private message/community/quick links bar, and the page numbers in each thread.

Also, having the FFShrine logo extend over "Welcome, [username]" at the top makes the [username] link difficult to see.

If nothing else, though, I would really really recommend going back to white as the default text color.

@CM: This must be a new one. The old old Timewarp had underlined links. I remember that was a noticeable difference when we switched to the most recent version. Also, You can still view your friends list by clicking "Settings" and then the "Friends & Contacts" button on the left. It's indirect, but it works.

Usually, in the last couple months, the board would automatically set me into the timewarp skin when I logged in. It did that today. It logged me into the broken skin. I'm not quite sure how or why though.

Now when I log in, the forums open with the New (Light) skin, despite the fact that I log out with the Timewarp. So every time I log in, I have to change it to the new Timewarp. It used to remember what I had set it to.

As everyone knows, when someone views someone else's profile or you view your own profile, it says what they / you are doing. For example,

"Viewing User Profile
Today 2:22 PM"

Note: Not the actual time -- that was just an example.

Unless one is searching the forums, viewing their subscribed threads, or viewing their user control panel, it always says that they're viewing the forum index, "Final Fantasy Shrine Forums"

Below are three screenshots after me clicking my username from viewing a topic. Anyone notice the difference in the third picture?

I just notice that there's either I light blue or grey outline surrounding the boxes recently. Some I found are around post(user's comment) box, quick reply box, or the "Subscribed Threads with New Posts" box. Is it just me noticing them? I personally feel it's a bit distracting...

Might fix your problems.

@Izanami: Thanks for the help! That seems to be working. The drop-down menu was already set to Timewarp, but I clicked "Save Changes" anyway and it's now logging me in with the Timewarp skin.

What Chocolate Misu mentioned about the profiles is still happening, though. The background is still black (which isn't that big of a deal) and the friend list is gone (it's still accessible by clicking other links, but not directly from the tab on the profile page).

These letters only show up if i double-click over the word i typed.

Forgot to say that the problem i was having in the search (post 16), has since been resolved, so thank you Izanami for all your work

I forgot to mention that Timewarp has reverted back to its old theme, as well as back to its old issue from the screenshots that I posted, Izanami, and this has been for a while now.

EDIT: Like before when it had this problem, I've been using the Light (VB3) theme.

I didn't want to start another thread. Well I noticed, since the forum breach couple of weeks ago, I have been only able to view the forum
in default skins ( no dark theme ) even when selecting "lets do a time warp". Is it just me or the theme is currently disabled for some reason?
