Nestus Dream from Alundra OST, and Baladiums Drive from Klonoa: Door to Phantomile
as for right now Persona 3
and just about all sonic OST they all seem pretty Neat. ^^
Well, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door was the first game I downloaded soundtracks for, so I'll go with that. That, or The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Good stuff.
I got in line too late ... all the good signatures were sold out by the time I got to the register.
Spyro the Dragon, it was the first vg i had, i just thought that the music was sweet!
for me, it was ace combat 4 and both god of war cd's. but mainly it was ace combat 4 that really got me hooked.
Final Fantasy 7, Aeris theme, the one music I'll never forget....
too many to name for me. Off the top of my head, MK 1, 2, 3, KI, Bram Stoker's Dracula opening theme, Super Mario World, TMNT: Turtles In Time, among others
The Neverhood OST is very good and funny too!!!
Honestly, it took a few games to start my VGM music obsession. It was these games that I noticed the excellent music, first, before anything. And here they are in no particular order. There's more, but these come to mind first and foremost.
Darius Gaiden [Saturn]
Thunder Force V [Saturn]
Blast Wind [Saturn]
Dragon Ball Z ~ Hyper Dimension [Super Famicom]
Skies of Arcadia [Dreamcast]
Castlevania ~ Symphony of the Night [PS1]
Mega Turrican [Genesis]
Resident Evil 2 [PS1]
Yu-Gi-Oh: Eternal Duelest Soul
Donkey Kong Country
Super Mario 64
Those are just a few. Yes, Yu-Gi-Oh: EDS had some terrific music.
Pretty much every track from Mega Man 3, especially the title theme.
For me, it was the FFX soundtrack, it being my very first video game soundtrack. I even remember the exact song; it was the theme to Besaid that got me instantly hooked.
Sonic The Hedgehog
It was a start.
Sonic was a start for me too. But the first time I realllllllllyyyyy paid attention to a video game's soundtrack was Final Fantasy IV (II on the SNES).
Chrono Trigger Original Sound Version.
I was discouraged about the game at first when my older bro downloaded the ROM many years back. I thought the artwork was too Dragonball-ish and just watched as my brother played the opening sequence.
The first time I heard Peaceful Days was probably my moment of recognition. Even to this day, the Chrono Trigger OSV remains a powerful bookmark in which I discovered VGM.
For me, it was the Chrono Trigger soundtrack! The music sounded so epic and amazingly good for being on the SNES! Ever since, I've been the a huge video game music fanatic! It was both Frog and Magus' themes that drew me in the most.
Megaman 2 was the first soundtrack that made me think VG music could be its own art form. Then Chrono Trigger came out and took it to a whole new level.
For me it was Grandia. The music from that game was in fact a main inspiration in learning to play the piano - so that some day I would eventually be able to play something from that game. And it was all worth it, because I eventually bought the sheet music book, so now I can
I suppose other games contributed - Castlevania Bloodlines had a great soundtrack. That probably also sparked an interest (after so much searching I finally found the soundtrack online).
In fact, without these games, I probably wouldn't have any interest in music at all.
warhammer 40000 dawn of war was the beggining of a journey that ended with me buying a terrabyte hdd to sate my desire for annoying aaddictive music that i may never listen to
if you burn things, things will burn you...eventually
punctuation isnt my strong point...nor is seing it due to a horrendous incident including super glue my eye and 5 hours in hospital.
i hate fakers lamers and bogus sites...burning the people who make them would not burn you
That would probably be Final Fantasy 6 which had awesome music...followed up by believe it or not; Donkey Kong. And even though I don't per say like 'Silent Hill' the series of games, the music is GREAT! And keeping me addicted - Phoenix Wright!
