    Ronnie James Dio, one of the most significant figures in the history of metal, passed away today at 67. He had stomach cancer.

    Shit. I was planning to go see Heaven & Hell this summer. Holy Diver was one of the soundtracks of my youth. Sad news.

    I'm not the type of metal fan really into some of the imagery in his lyrics or even the videos, but he was damn talented, and from what I know, a kind and fairly humble guy. He certainly has my adoration and respect. This is really a shame
