Hehe, I like the term Sexy Jesus Basch

Yep, there are five costumes and between the two of you I think you've got them. You can both fight to the death for the next question!

Aha, I was almost sure I missed something when you get him in the Barheim passage.

I don't have any ideas for questions so we won't be needing those wiffle ball bats.

Bump? Or as it's over a half a year since we've had an answer am I frowned upon for bumping?

Completely forgot about that @_@ I was asking for Salve Makers and Wood Warders.

Anyway to give this thread some push forward some easier question. What is the earliest time possible to make Tournesol?

I thought it's pretty easy. All you need for making Tournesol becomes available after Draklor Laboratory, when you can start the Trophy Monster's Hunt. Actually, the only reason why it can't be made earlier is Soul Powder, because everything else can be obtained earlier.

    Free question.

12? Well, let's see... Bahamut, Shiva, Ifrit, Leviathan, Alexander, Atomos, Tonberry (though, i think that was codename of pilot and not name of vehicle), Catoblepas... 8. Those are all I know, that are named after summons. There are others like Garland or Flameberge(or Firebrand?) but they're not named after summons.

There's also the Odin, the Carbuncle, the Remora and the Valfarre (Valefor).

Either way it's your turn for getting 8, not that anyone else is playing at the moment...

Maybe someone will join us soon...

Final Battle of FFXII is considered to be a tribute to a certain game. Which game and why?

Vagrant Story. Last Boss flies around the same kind of circular arena.

    Free question.

I'll ask a question then if you'd like Szc.

Despite appearing as the name of an airship in FFXII, which traditional FF summon is also generally regarded to also sort-of appear as an Esper as well (in form but not directly in name)?

Hint: the Esper's backstory strongly hints at this summon in question.

Continuing on the line of Espers, what are the two espers where it is impossible to fight with a guest?

    Ok.
Espers in FFXII are connected with final bosses from the past FF's (except the ones known from FFT). Name those espers and FF's with which they are connected.

Another Esper related question... Sorry xD

From what I remember, some of the 'pass FF final boss' Esper names were changed or mistranslated slightly, so I'll add their 'original' names as well next to them:

    Chaos (FFI)
Mateus (FFII - apparently this is what Emperor Palamecia's real name is)
Famfrit (FFIII - I've heard this refers to the Cloud of Darkness somehow, but I have no idea if that's true or not. In any event, it was also one of the Totemas from FFTA but I included it here as relevant to this question)
    Zeromus (FFIV)
Exodus (FFV - a literal transliteration of 'X-death')
Ultima (FFT - in the original PSX version of FFT 'Altima' was in fact Ultima badly mistranslated)

Very good! That's even more than I've asked for Your go Enkidoh

btw Some fans also claim, that Shemhazai is somewhat connected to Ultimecia from FFVIII, but it's not so clear like with other Espers.

    Quiz, trivia, same thing basically.

This should be a nice easy question:

As is well known, one of the 'forbidden' treasure urns required to gain the Zodiac Spear is found in Rabanastre Lowtown. If you do decide to sacrifice gaining the spear later and instead swipe the urn's contents, what are the possible items you can gain from it? (You don't need to mention all items, just one of the possibilities will do ).

    It's a trivia quiz.
There everyone is happy and Ivalice is once again at peace.

---------- Post added at 01:49 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:32 AM ----------

And when I first opened that chest the very first time I played it gave me Gil. I think it was in the 700 region.

But you want like items, not Gil
    For your answer?

I would assume knot of rust cause those things were everywhere.
"Enough expository banter. It's time we fight like men. And ladies. And ladies who dress like men. For Gilgamesh...IT IS MORPHING TIME!"

That is indeed correct. A Knot of Rust is indeed one of the possible items that can be gained from that urn, but only if you have the Diamond Armlet equipped. Another item you can get with the Armlet equipped is an Ether. Without the Armlet, it's indeed just gil, or otherwise just a Potion or Eye Drops. Interestingly it is an equal 50/50 chance you'll get either one of those items or gil.

Anyway, you got it so your go jfloyd.
