"Do you think a wasted life is honorable or something?" - Rose (Legend of Dragoon)
I liked both but Qu's Marsh helped me more in the long run.
Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, and ideas are bulletproof. -V
Qu's Marsh (9) trounces Pinnacle Rocks (3)
Quan's Dwelling - Near Treno, this cavern served as home to both Quan and Vivi, who Quan was apparently growing so he could make a meal out of him. It's also here that Quina and Quale learn what it means to be a gourmand and where Virgo and Scorpio met, as evidenced by the story told in the Stellazio coins, two of which can be found near the spring inside.
Iifa Tree - The "back of the tree", as Garland puts it, this beautiful location is perhaps the most important in FFIX, serving as the waste disposal system for the discarded Gaia souls, turning them into Mist. The physical manifestation of the tree extends its roots all over the world and, while only affecting the Mist Continent in the beginning, later in the game it exhales Mist all over the world.
I liked how the inside was all green and glowing.
Quan's Dwelling, and as Espanha correctly posted, it's "Iifa," not "Lifa."

Iifa Tree...music is kinda cool... and has anyone elsed noticed that the Stroper monsters look slightly phalic?
Quan's Dwelling for it's nice stone floors and indoor jacuzzi! But also because hated that couldn't complete coffee quest because of that stupid tree.
Guess I'm only voting to side with Agent not that it's going anywhere fast..because the end scene with Zidane running the gauntlet of vines back to Kuja was about as awesome as the You're Not Alone scene after Zidane speaks with Garland, awakes in some sort of old incubator? and traipses away from his consoling friends temporarily to whomp on more awesomeness in the form of monsters!
Iifa Tree, as there's nothing much to do in Quan's place.
Cure spells + Fire = Lvl Up bonanza.
And the nice cut scene with Eiko to access the location.
"All good things on this earth flow into the city."
Quan's Dwelling (3) goes down. IIfa Tree (11) gets an easy win.
Mognet Central - The heart of the Mognet delivery system, located on a small island. Artemicion is the, let's call him Postmaster and proved his worth by crapping up the system prior to the game's beginning.
Pandemonium - Garland's castle on Terra, where some major plot points are revealed to Zidane and company. Zidane also has a sudden, but brief, attack of "Squallititis" here.
I love me moogles. Mognet Central
