Shiva I reckon.She's got a great summon scene. Either that or Alexander, who's summon scene means that you can boost him right up

Diablos. Again
Diablos is cool. However casting Haste, Regen and Protect on ALL of your party in one turn is unbeatable.
I suppose so, but Diablos can make that unnecessary. Since with Enc-none you get no enemies to fight and in turn you don't need all that. And in my experience no boss is ever that hard to require ALL those buffs. Besides I prefer using Quistis to that end anyway.
I used Enc-half but I think unless I was doing a speed run enc-none would make it boring. For bosses though those buffs help. one turn isn't that much and you get a huge advantage.
To each their own.
Doomtrain because is awesome & of course it nukes away the enemy's defenses.
Diablo because is awesome too.
It depends on the awesomeness more than if it's useful.
If CrazyTrain plays when you summon doomtrain, that would be awesome.

Agreed. In terms of "summoning a GF for it's awesomeness", Diablos definitely takes it there. It's like the bats make a cacoon (or however it's spelled) and slimey Diablos comes out. After shaking off the goo, he decides to gross us out even more by THROWING HIS GOO SPHERE AT THE ENEMY!Originally Posted by TheKev

The summoning sequence of Diablos always reminded me of that episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion, where Unit-01 was swallowed into a sea of shadow... only to tear apart this floating white and black striped orb... dripping in blood and gore. Substitute Unit-01 for Diablos, the blood and gore for the dripping black goo... same thing more or less. Still a atmospheric appearance, just like my two other favorites, Doomtrain (Glasyalabholas in Japan) and Cerberus.

Thats what I did. For some reason every time I played through this game Diablos always went to Zell. And for me it is a tie between Shiva and Diablos. Both are crazy cool.
Without a doubt, unquestionably, and unequivicobly: Diablos, only because my game discs are screwed and I can't summon him after disc 1 at all. What you can't have is always cooler than the rest.
