On Roms and emulators, I'm in my "Arcade" period of the year. playing old CPS1 and 2 and Neo Geo beat'em all, like Cadillac and Dinosaur, King of Dragons, Shadows over Mystara, Mutation Nation or metal slug. lots of metal slug. damn I love those games.

I'll probably nut a few of these for the load. I've got a few nuts in the works. Still have to polish them.

High Tension was a bit weird. Especially the oral sex.
Brotherhood of the Wolf (Le Pacte des loups) was a fun movie. Christoph Gans. Supposed to be a historical movie. :shrugs:
    An American Werewolf In Paris...
Antichrist (although English by French director) was okay. Had some really good parts but overall lagged. The trailer is superb. Especially that aria from Handel's opera, Rinaldo.

We even did the Running man thing before Schwarzenegger (and even before King, as King more or less plagiarized a 1958 novel by Robert Sheckley. it was called "the price of Danger".
I actually don't really like High Tension much. It's alright, but just alright and it's also a little infuriating.

But Cache, Frontier(s), Malefique, Them, and especially Martyrs are all really good horror films. In My Skin too but it's so hard to watch.

Though I think Martyrs might have been made in Canada.

I vaguely remember all of us screaming at the TV: "kill him! run! grab that weapon!" and all that. She did not listen. I don't think we got to finish the movie...

Trying to think of other good Canadian horror movies now Ginger Snaps! Black Christmas. Oh man, The Changeling is Canadian, isn't? One of the most influential horror movies ever.

Yep! Ginger Snaps 1 & 3 are the best ones, imo. 3 is fun for being a time-period movie and that christian
I have yet to watch The Changeling. Keep meaning too, but whenever I tried to rent it, it was out and all I had to choose from was that Angelina Jolie film :/

Cube, Screamers, The Dead Zone, Scanners, White Noise, The X-Files (TV).

The problem with The Changeling is that it's been ripped off so many times since. ; ; But it's still a great movie. Really hard to find here.

Probably what you were accidentally linking to.
Kinda slow, and a bit dopey, (especially Philip J. Fry - I mean El Brendel,) but the sets and effects are pretty cool when you realize they've only just figured how to add sound.
The rocketship and a lot of the shots were recycled into Flash Gordon three years later.

Maybe you would feel better with his cancelled show Lucky Louie. Had Pamela Adlon in it. Though much closer to a traditional sitcom.

Ah. Gotcha. I'm sure there will always be a place for the hardcore. And so far no phone game I've played has been able to do it. Jack of all trades, master of none as they say. The phone does music and internet, but never as well as my comp and ipod do them separately.

    Stan Lee is an asshole.
Why does he name all his characters starting with the same letter???

Did he have a kid that died on him that had that idea?

---------- Post added at 04:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:17 PM ----------

Why doesn't he get his name legally changed to something like: Leeland Lee or Lenny Lee?
    Fucker.

I'm going to see that superman movie to watch Supes show off his body in dat suit of his.

    From my slumber I rise...

I liked Malťfique. very good movie. Can't find the soundtrack anywhere. haven't had the occasion to see FrontiŤres yet.

As for the Brotherhood of the Wolf (or "Le Pacte des Loups" as we know it here), it's based on quite the historic enigma: the Gevaudan beast. quite a well documented enigma too. Nobody really know what happened back then in that very rural area of the center of the country. It is assumed that the beast (which nature has never really been firmly defined) has been the author of between 80 and 130-odd attacks, most of them being lethal. there are lots of theories, ranging from Werewolf attacks to a psychopath, a war dog (dogs were used as weapons, and equipped with an armor that could explain the descriptions made by the surviving victims), a hyena brought from africa, some even went as far as supposing it could be a tiger or Lion. One thing is sure, if the beast was ever killed, it was real quiet, and nothing came to dispel the official theory that wolves were the cause of the attacks.

    to this day,

Alliteration is awesome. And it helps whatever your reading stick in your mind better. Which is good from a marketing perspective while flowing really nicely.

Shall i continue tomorrow ? Technically, only major characters have a name and a first name that start with the same letter. easier to remind them. Matt Murdock. Peter Parker. Red Richards. Scott Summers. Sparky mcSpankingwelldeservedistobereceived. But the last one is not his creation. obviously.

Two of my brothers have names that start with the same letter as mine. But it doesn't matter since no one calls me anything but Mandi.

I want to see a list of characters whose first and last name start with the same letter...

    VS

    Those who do not.

That would make a fun Marvel comic ^__^

I can't find it. Yet again, youtube is so limited.

Raj from Big Bang Theory goes on about it too. He lists a lot of names.
they only have Stan Lee's cameo when Penny and Sheldon show up to his house.
