Oh, you did add the map

Is it real? It's so..... so...... similar to the in-game maps (in style).

Yep! Was pretty excited to look over it.

It's on Wiki. Someone actually made the map and plotted out significant things about the town.
Almost wanted to shop it to have some crinkly edges and age tears in it. some sepia/yellow stains.
scribble words, lines and a little stickman figure of P. head

If you do that, I'll get it printed at Kinkos. Twice. Once to take with me, and once to frame.

    I'll work on that!
    I should plan this out.
What I want to do to it. And then focus each feature on separate days. There's time for this.

    Centralia in Cinema~

The Town That Was, a 70-min documentary on Centralia.
    For US viewers:

    For international viewers:
    Code:

Nothing But Trouble (1991) is believed to be heavily inspired by the events of Centralia.
    Code:

    Silent Hill. Needs no introduction.
    Code:
    http://stagevu.com/video/asoyjlqgaqop

    Can't find links for...
    • The town circa 1987 is prominently featured in the opening minutes of the 1987 film Made in USA as the home town of the lead characters.[19]
    • The 2009 film Sinkhole was filmed mostly in Centralia.

---------- Post added at 03:59 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:38 AM ----------

Recent uploads of Centralia in the past week or so...

Urban explorer. Has quite a few video of urban exploration.
[Hidden link. Register to see links.]

Centralia 2012. He didn't stay long. Really just on the main highway (now dubbed "graffiti highway" and you can find many "clues" and art that indicate the "order" )

Two gamer girls went to Centralia. And hear a siren. Real? Who knows. Betting it was edited in, but wouldn't that be something if the siren was real?
[Hidden link. Register to see links.]

They got lost, really short video and no real followup of the town.

some petition video to have Centralia restored and rebuilt (despite the fire still blazing, morons).
[Hidden link. Register to see links.]

But lots of pics of graffiti highway with emblems of the Order.

Fall seems like the absolute perfect time to go. Perfect time for all things spooky, really! So glad you're getting to go! Hope you can get awesome pictures and video.

Read a short story I really liked yesterday. It was in a horror collection, but I sort of forgot it was a horror story while I was reading it? It was almost like it was a typical erotica story and then everything went insane. Was surprisingly unsettling. Had really weird dreams last night.

[Hidden link. Register to see links.]

It's free right now, though maybe you can't get it if you're in future land? Some of the other stories are good too but not as good as the title story. I also thought it was annoying that so many characters had similar names. Though maybe I don't get to complain about that, considering. Just figured I would mention it since it was free.

also, the first story was kind of awful, so if you get it don't judge it by that

That's nothing. Wait until the scene where's he's in a very lovely wedding gown.

I don't think Zardoz is a bad film, really, it's just typical 70's gonzo. (And that trailer gives up too much of what little plot there is.)

Do to changes in my schedule, I am not able to do uploads, renew links or fulfill requests at this time. I will resume uploads if and when the situation changes.

This message is for Sparktank or any other techno-savvy people on here who see this post.

If I wanted to buy a portable Blu-Ray player to be hooked up to my laptop, are there any particular brands or models that could be recommended? Thanks for any tips.

I plan to watch it tomorrow evening. There's Johnnie To's "Breaking news" on TV this evening. I heard it was good stuff.

Hmm. Would a free book I got from the Kindle store have DRM? I can see if I can't figure out a way to upload it here.

It might do. I've never bought one so don't know.

You can use this site to convert to and from mobi. [Hidden link. Register to see links.] Convert it to text file and it may strip drm?

It's okay though. I have plenty to be reading atm. I'm supposed to be writing, too. I don't read when I'm writing so I don't get influenced.

I try and read a ton before I start working on a specific project because I can always write better when I've been doing more reading. Nothing I've been reading is much like any of my three projects, so I'm not worried about stuff blurring together.

I have Calibre, I'll mess with that a bit. It seemed like a very STS story collection so I wanted to share it.

Calibre is awesome. I use it.

I picked up a short story collection a few weeks ago. About zombies. It has a story from a comic book author I really like. Mike Carey. I've never read a prose piece by him before. Looking forward to it.

I was about to say I'll bring a gun, too, and had a glorious thought: finding a pipe there to take home
