I just don't get this mindset at all. When people try to rationalize that you need to be an ~adult~, but have no problem with spending money on other fun stuff, or watching goofy programs, with the target age being the only thing that matters. Or the people who get really made when you remind them shows they like are aimed at kids. All that matters is that you like it. It doesn't even have to be good, I like my share of terrible stuff.

Life is too short to take entertainment seriously in that way. Just like what you like. If you want to get serious, then obsess over it.

I usually don't keep a lot at my desk either. I like to rotate out desk buddies. I don't like worrying about knocking stuff over and I usually won't mess around with more than one toy at a time anyways.

Keep the most important stuff, keep playing video games, regret nothing. There's other things to worry about in life and if someone has the means and the time to keep up their hobby, then good on em.

In the realm of free stuff there's Katawa Shouju (average at best) and Don't Take It Personally (Great IMO). If your looking for time to kill then you can't go wrong.

You're not into crazy mind-trippy stuff so much, right? That's a lot of what I play. Ever 17 is my favorite of favorites. It's out of print but it's probably online somewhere. If not I can see if I can figure out how to rip my copy.

Symphonic Rain is really nice and even has some cool gameplay? Music stuff. True Remembrance is great. I don't think the English patch for Rewrite is out yet but I am confident it will be great when it is. Really, you can't go wrong with Key or KID.

also, if you like fantasy and don't mind porn-y stuff, Fate/stay night. I like the anime more, cause dem fight scenes. Someone fixed it so you can play it on the DS if you have a flash cart.
