Miracleman and Watchmen are far and away the best for me. There's stuff like Lost Girls I'll never even read, and that's probably at the bottom.

I don't have a job (hopefully Ill have that fixed in the summer) and all my saved money goes toward college stuff, so there is no way in hell Im askin my parents for money

Books in the states are really expensive because no one's buying them...... which is why the bookstores are going out of business....... The price of manga just keeps going up too.... usual price few years ago was $9-$10. Now it's $11-$15 depending on the size or publisher. The issues of Chi I get are like $14 and they're some of the thinnest manga on my shelf ; ;

I wish they'd make more big volumes for manga, like the Akira ones. There's a lot I don't buy because the binding on manga is usually great and because I don't want to commit to buying that many volumes. Comics are nicer for that, since they tend to be separated by story arcs or stand-alone stories. Plus, I'd rather have larger pages so I can better appreciate the art.

I buy pretty much all my trades on Amazon, they are super cheap. I mostly get hardcovers too, because the binding is nicer and they look nicer on shelves. I usually get regular books off Amazon too.

Only comics I own (graphic novels mostly) are The Killing Joke, Batman: Hush (Volume 1), and The Dark Knight Returns.

I really need to expand my collection.

(Well I do have the Emperor Joker set that someone was kind enough to give out, but that doesn't really count does it?)
