Southwest (I don't like be specific with my location online).
Problem is I'm on about 3-5 painkillers and my insurance (I still get it through my parents) is going to end fairly soon.
The government won't help out because I'm not an illegal or single mom and...yeah.
Don't get me wrong, I had a good run.
I went from being dirt poor & living in a car to lower/mid middle class and living in a decent house.
20+years has been a good run I'd say.
Just, now, I need to start getting rid of my 'stuff' and hope I can pay for my medication without going into obscene debt.

I asked about state because I think any programs that tend to help uninsured people are state specific. I know in Michigan there are clinics you can do that charge on a sliding, income based scale. I'd look for stuff like that. In Mass everyone has insurance, because we've basically has what Obamacare is for years.
If it wasn't painkillers, I'd suggest looking into painkillers online, but those are probably very difficult to get. I know I bought anxiety medication online for a while and it was insanely cheap.
Freelancer's insurance is generally crap but if you want to know how to make money doing that stuff I'm happy to send you some links! Could hold you over till you have a job and insurance again. I'd also apply for state aid if you haven't. Depending on your state you might get stuck on a waiting list, but you should qualify, and it's possible to defer payment on some stuff if you have insurance pending. I did this a couple years ago and my uncovered expenses were back-paid from the date of my application.

Marceline, the problem with the state run funds is..well, funds. Here in Az, they slashed everything to the bone, even for families and kids. God forbid you are a single man...I mean, they even cut the organ transplant funds. To like, you don't get it levels....
I am very sorry, but I cannot re-upload many of the score albums, due to a massive rearranging of my library. I kept only tracks I enjoy listening to as compilation albums in order to save space, and got rid of anything I don't listen to often, if at all. I have no working links for anything older than last week.

I have been trying to take better care of myself in the last half year though......... eating a bit better and got myself used to eating breakfast. I used to hate the thought of breakfast time....... no more sick feeling now
