We have all sorts of tea though. I'm sipping on Chai Spice Tea at the moment.

I remember ordering an Iced Tea for the first time in the US and wondering what the hell my server did to it?

Turns out that's what it tastes like.

You take a glass of water, put in a bit of powder, stir and instant tea.

The powder is actually strange though....... I swear you could make effective smoke bombs out of it

I always get choked up by it.....

I find it strange that US tea really is an all-purpose tea. Tea companies keep on flavoring it. Lemon, peach, mango, raspberry........ all stemming from this base tea. They just put syrup in it....

A company called Arizona makes canned/bottled green tea that I drink cold nearly every morning now (I drink canned lemon nestea the rest of the time). Stores sell other kinds of different tea mostly only as tea bags. I've tried one or two before but they tasted like crap........ I think the US craps out "fancy" teas for cheap without caring if that's what it's supposed to taste like...

I remember trying Snapple before....... it was awful

I think the difference between the US & Canada is we call ours cold Iced Tea more than you folks it seems.

I noticed you haven't said Iced Tea all that often and just refer to it as Tea.

To us iced tea is just tea. It's pretty much the default. If we want it hot then it's hot tea.
