I watched it because Lee Pace was in it. I saw Pushing Daisies first, so it piqued my interest. Had a movie day with friends and watched it after The Producers.
I quite enjoyed it and yes a feast for the eyes.
Spoiler!

I can't remember. I'm going to watch it within the week so I'll let you know... maybe it was ambiguous? I really don't recall.
I didn't think anyone here would be into it.The dir claims there were no post-prod SFX, everything was shot in-camera. Impressive.

For Doc.

I would think there was some colour tweaking as well. I think he meant no CGI trickery.
His next film is green screen hell. It looks like 300. [Hidden link. Register to see links.]

That was....uh, yeah. Mickey Rourke's accent is terrible. Action looked good though, as it better if they're going to bill it as a spiritual successor to 300.
He shot 3 arrows, but 4 showed up. Bad editor, bad! Only the trailer and it already seems hokey.
Niters Doc.

Bud is still banned. Pity, but I'll say it again then, POST THOSE VOLUMES DAMMIT!
You might be right.
I didnt really get into score till 07 and was really a solo deal until this year.
generally speaking, score LPs used to be quite short. often vinyl soundtracks were less than 30 minutes.

i need to get my thoughts out about the other night.
I bought my first one in '92 (1492 by Vangelis). But Lyedecker is right, there was already a huge amount of "Music from and Inspired by...". But there were film scores too, and damn good one: The untouchables, Robin Hood, Willow. Even if most were around 50mn, so nowhere near the actual capacity of a CD. But as they had to be able to release them on tape too...I should dwelve a little more in that subject. I've been really interested for a year or so by the history of film scoring and of their release to the public.
Well, I'm off, niters, guys !![]()
