Most people say that The Island was pretty bad. Hell, the only good movie Bay ever directed was The Rock.

I'm a big fan of the blustery action flicks, so I must admit Bay's films are half decent to someone such as myself.

Though Pearl Harbour was fucking terrible.

Update: The Autobots and Decepticons who will be in the Movie have been announced! here they are:

Autobots
Optimus Prime--The Valiant Leader
Bumblebee--Underdog/Scout First Transformer on Earth
Jazz--Stylish guy, takes pieces of foreign cultures he likes the best and adapts to them
Ratchet--Medic/Science Officer
Ironhide--Autobot Muscle/Warrior, Optimus' oldest friend, Roughneck

Decepticons
Megatron--His evil will be more in depth, very arrogant, hates humans
Starscream--Backstabber, still questions what would happen if he were to lead
Brawl--New Character Mad all the time. Like Ironhide First non flying Decepticon
Bonecrusher--New Character Closest thing to a Constructicon--Hates all other Decepticons other than Megatron
Barricade (Cop Car)--New Character The Decepticon Hunter/Tracker
Frenzy--Originally going to be Soundwave, but changed (Small spy)
Blackout--Takes out Earth Defense Systems with an EMP. Also in charge of transporting Decepticons, has a large alt. mode.
Scorponok-- References were made to Beast Wars Dinobot, his alt mode will appear totally logical one you see the movie.

Yes, grew up with G1, what did we remember. Remember the cartoon.

What’s the transformer to human screen time ratio?

Reading a script can be misleading. Dialogue can vary in length.

Why is the Camaro being used for Bumblebee?

Clothes don’t make the man, the characters are still the same. Bumblebee is still the same character, just up dated Alt. mode.

No cheating, no mass shifting. Sitting and staring at real vehicles. Amazing opportunity to do something on par with Jurassic Park.

Story is designed to be understandable to the new movie goers. References will be made that fans will understand though.

The Movie is massive,

Will Megatron insult Starscream at least once in the movie?

Definitely yes.

Why so few Autobots compared to Decepticons?

Put Autobots at a disadvantage to make it harder for them. More firepower on the cons vs. the autobots. Use friendship to win.

How close has Hasbro been involved?

Very close. They went to the Hasbro HQ to look through the design catalog. What did the world mean to them and which characters that they loved the most?

Why not Shockwave?

Had to chose the right characters that each have a designated purpose.

For anyone who doesn't know, Peter Cullen was the original voice of Optimus way back in the Generation 1 era. He will be returning to the role in the new movie due out next summer. This has actually sparked a minute bit of hope in me that the movie may not suck completely. I realize that hope will likely be crushed though.
