    I would live somewhere peaceful, maybe even isolated. Mideel in ff VII seems like a good place, and Cosmo Canyon. In IX, even though it's kind of boring, I like he town Dali.

    I wouldn't live in just one town I would be travel around.
    Oh and the world I would travel it would be FF7.
    I would try and find Cloud and bug him to train me and then become a Merc.
    I think being a Merc would be fun. No time to fall in love cause you're to busy moving around the world.
