Given the initial voting, this turned out to be a much closer battle than I expected it to be. Time to bring up the final tally and find out the results:

Bunny - 7
Bird - 5

Bunny takes this one, but Bird put up a much better fight than expected.

Adamantoise - Many FF Games (These massive tortoises have been around in many FF games. They are generally large, well-armored, and can sometimes come in various forms. This type of monster classification is also sometimes referred to as "land turtle.")

vs.

Hexadragon - Final Fantasy VIII (Dragons come in so many forms in Final Fantasy, but rather than trying to lump this into one category, I just picked out this memorable dragon. This unusual dragon has six eyes and is otherwise blue and black. [Note that the one in the picture has suffered an unfortunate run-in with Odin.])

P.S.: If somebody that has the PC version of Final Fantasy VII could grab me a screenshot of the Unknown 2 in the crashed Gelnika plane, I'd be very appreciative. I have the PC version, but it's not currently installed on my system.

Hexadragon. I love how that screenshot is of a Hexadragon cut in half, so someone who's never played FFVIII might think it's really trippy looking.

Wow, Adamantoise is something of a classic, I expected that one to win, but Hexadragon gets a fairly big win there. It moves on to the second round.

And the next battle will be:

Evil Eyeball - Many FF Games (It's an ugly floating eyeball thing. Some of them have wings.)

Unknown 2 - Final Fantasy VII (A monster on the crashed Gelnika plane. It's a weird-looking flowing thing with tentacles sticking out of its head, a long neck and a plump bottom.)
