Shenmue Online has been taking up a quite large amount of time during the day. Had to get a PC for it, so I got a VAIO, it works well.
    It's over 9,000!

Final Fantasy VII no doubt.... with FFVIII and Baldurs Gate II: Shadow of Amn close behind. All features tons of gameplay, engaging storylines, great graphics and amazing soundtrack(especially Baldurs Gate II)

Okay... I haven't done this for a while, so I have to think about it. Here goes...

    1) Final Fantasy III (SNES)
-> Hands-down the best RPG of its time, and arguaby the best Final Fantasy in the series.
    2) Seiken Densetsu 3 (SNES)
-> I started playing this about a half-year ago. It's story was really engrossing, and it had slick graphics to-boot. SE made a big mistake by not releasing a US version of this game, as it is probably the best in the Mana series.
    3) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
-> The #1 best Zelda game ever.
    4) Chrono Trigger (SNES)
    -> Classic game.
    5) Chrono Cross (PS1)
-> (even though the plot confuses the hell out of me, I still found it quite enjoyable to play)
    6) The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA)
-> The #2 best Zelda game ever. This game had me hooked for weeks. I played it whenever I had a spare minute of two (which was a lot). Which reminds me, I still haven't collected all of the figurines yet...
    7) Final Fantasy XI (PC)
-> This game, although freakin' impossible to gain Gil, whored up most of my time a few years ago. I wasted so much time with this game, and the people weren't even that friendly in it. Thus, it isn't in my top three, but I thought I owed it some credit for allieviating my boredom way-back-when.
    8) Phantasy Star Online V.1 (DC)
-> I'm talking about before it went to hell (as in: hacking, BSOD'ing, cloning, PKing, CKing, and just the general n00byness of the PSO population)
    9) Final Fantasy IX (PS1)
-> I've gotta give credit where credit is due... FFIX was the first one that got me into the series. I <3 it.
    10) Mario Kart (N64)
-> Gotta love this game. I especially loved the Yoshis Canyon level... And Donkey Kong's Jungle. Good times.

    No particular order:

    FFVI

    Legend of Legaia

    Blood Omen

    Star Ocean: The Second Story

    Valkyrie Profile

And... that's about it, that I can recall right off.

Then you seriously need to broaden your view, because you are missing some truly excellent RGP titles.

    A great example would be:

    Baldurs Gate (complete series)
    Planescape: Torment (freaking awesome game)
    Wild Arms 1 & 3
    Legaia 2: Duel Saga
    Skies of Arcadia
    Baten Kaitos

Those are my most favorite off top of my head.

If you're favorite game is FFVII, you asking about the quality of the graphics being it's equal, that's laughable.

    Anyway:

Wild Arms 1 looks the most like FFVII graphics wise, it's a PSX game.
Wild Arms 3 is totally different, art style that is, the game is for PS2.
Both Plance Scape Torment and Baldurs Gate are for the PC, they run on the Bioware Infinity Engine, though heavily modified for PS:T and a new version for BG2. The games both look realistic though filled with fantasy, you have an isometric view of the game.
Baten Kaitos, for the GameCube, looks realisitic and colorfull and fully 3D.
Skies of Arcadia, also for the GC, looks cartoonish/anime-ish but is also in full 3D.
Legaia 2, for the PS2, doesn't look as good as most PS2 games do, the game however is good enough to look past the fact that the graphics could have been better.

There are so many better RPG's out there than Final Fantasy. And the reason that they aren't as popular is because people like you don't invest the time and money to try out a game if it doesn't have the title 'Final Fantasy' in it.
