The whole Heather in daisy dukes pic always stumped me.
But certainly wallpapered as of now.

IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE JUST ANOTHER PYRAMID HEAD SCHEME![]()
~Forever known as Purrr~
So it's been a good while since I played 3 all the way through (see [Hidden link. Register to see links.] as to why I aborted my last playthrough).
I like SQUEEED when I got to SH and realized it was the same map from 2 ^___^ And, of course, going into Heaven's Night was ZOMG.
I'm such a dork![]()
"Let me ask you, have you seen a little girl around here?
Short, Black hair... ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!"
Have you seen my wife...Her name's Mary
ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!
ilu, Allen <3
I unlocked the unlimited submachine gun and the flamethrower. Honestly don't know how I got the flamethrower, I meleed almost every enemy, as per usual o_O
I've think I've played very SH (1/2/3/4/0/2C/0:PS2)
But, SH2 (DC or regular) is just the best for me.
1 just for being my first "scary" game
3 is just kind of fun
0 was a quick little romp
and 4...well 4 is like "Super Mario Bros. 2 (US Version)" it's not a BAD game per say, but it's not a GOOD Silent Hill game either.
And, it was NOT worth full price....
BOOBIES!
I messed around with 4 a bit, and I have to say that I really don't have any major problems with it, aside from having a limited inventory (what is this, RE?!? Rob <3). The worlds look and feel like Silent Hill, so far anyway.
I really liked the second one, being in Silent Hill, outside, but not being in town? SWOON.
I'll hold on off on further praise/criticism, but right now it seems like it'll be good times.
Doomjockey, by process of elimination, we have Heather to offer you. Sorry, the degrees of freedom have been used up. Unless you know, Travis or Alex~

Heather is winsauce nevertheless~
I tried a bit of 2 on hard just now (action and riddle) and I have to say it really annoyed me greatly. Not because I couldn't handle it (I can dodge with the best of 'em)but because it made me feel like I had to rush around. I know this is certainly conducive to getting a 10-star run, but it felt HORRIBLE to me. It made me realize that I like to....linger. I couldn't appreciate hole in the wall #546 because I had to run around like mad to avoid the patient demons in the apartments
That's where I stopped, obviously.
This conclusion is certainly in line with my earlier claim that I appreciate the games for atmosphere and environments. Hard puzzle level doesn't bother me a bit, if you were wondering.
So, my fellow SH protagonists (^_^), have you ever tried and/or achieved a 10-star run on any of the games?
I don't feel any need to. Unlocking all the extra weapons and getting the endings is enough bonus content for me.
Double post stylee~
I got 8+ stars on 3 today, without even trying. The scary part is if I didn't use the unlimited machine gun, it would have been 9+.
The only things I would have had to have done is finished it on Hard, and saved a couple times less. Crazy.
8 stars? Congrats!
That's pretty epic...think my max is about 5 stars.
And I've never had the motivation to try getting anymore.
I will consider it 9, in my heart. I could have easily done the exact same with normal weapons![]()
What do you get for a 10 star run?
Nope. Not a fan of trying either. I am also a huge fan of lingering (makes me think of that old song by The Cranberries) and general time-wasting exploration. If I happen to get a good rating while I stop to bash everything in the area, good for me, but it's never a priority. Doing it this way, I believe I've achieved a max run of 7-8 stars, but it's been so long I might just be stroking my ego.
