I knew he was the Mayor's kid after he started talking but only then. When the name showed up in the dialogue tree I was like WTF

I fought those hammerhead things at the police station like 50 times. Learning their moveset, how and when to dodge. I feel like I've got a better grasp of the combat system now. I'm like a ninja with the knife on most enemies

It's sorta like RE4. I had to learn to always be on the move and never press an advantage. Stick and roll.

I'm at the end of the sewers, now.

Oh, do I get to come back to the locker? I didn't see a code anywhere, and it's way too long to run all the permutations.

I managed to unlock it by looking at the time the first time around. Don't know why I put it in there but sure glad it worked.

Just got done beating the hell out of SH Origins. Is it just me or did they really dumb down the puzzles in this one for Western audiences?

You could say that, I guess. Considering this game was originally on the PSP, I can't imagine them getting to difficult with puzzles on a hand-held... but I don't know...

But yeah, the puzzles were a bit easy.

Yeah, probably had to do with it being for PSP. There hasn't been any logic puzzles in Homecoming so far, either. That makes me sad

Well, I beat Silent Hill 1 on hard finally with the good+ ending and in under two hours. Whoo!

Working on the third one for the first time right now. I'm in the construction building at the moment, trying to open the elevator.
Also working on earning all the accolades in Origins. Achieving the fireman one seems to be the most tricky for me. I'm still find myself getting lost in the Sanitarium, too... LOL.

Just curious, how do you have all the accolades to one save file? Do all of them have to be earned within one complete gameplay to do that?

No, just load a clear file and all the previously earned ones will be there. Rinse and repeat til you have them all.

Playing 1 and then 3 is a pretty good idea. Just like playing 2 and then 4.

If it wasn't for Homecoming, SH would have a even/odd structure like RE. Well, hell RE has stuff like Code Veronica, so yes, we do have an even/odd system. Since we might actually get a 5 someday.

. Just like Grand Theft Auto with all the other games after III before releasing an official IV. Or like Neg already said about the RE series.

If an actual 5 comes out then that means you'll have to be 4.5.

Like I consider RE:CV 3.5

Well, the only reason I assumed I would be number 5 was because the game was originally called "Silent Hill V" (early screenshots and video trailers) before it was officially changed to "Homecoming". So, I guess like you said, we'll have to see...

But if it ends up where another game becomes the official "5" of the series... I'll change my number to 4.5.
