Over 100 of tv's children's characters were brought together, a colection of characters spanning 50 years, all originally voiced for the event. For the full video each character would have to be moved over 10,000 times, and the production if not copyright free for charity would've cost over £1million!

So here it is... see how many characters you recognise. Or depending on age and country, how many you don't recognise.

Ok, so I like Pandora radio. I like genius playlists, and all that stuff, but I want something like that for video game music. I want something better than what's out there, so I thought of this thread.

Here are the rules.

First, someone posts a song title from a video game or anime soundtrack. I'll take the first one and no more until the next round.

Second, anyone who wants to posts a group of songs (30-45 minutes worth) that they think relate to that song, or that they think someone that likes the posted song would also enjoy.

The songs you put in your list don't have to be from an anime or a video game, just relate in some way to the original song.

Try to keep the songs in the same style and/or mood. (i.e. if the song is a quick-tempo, happy-sounding song, pick upbeat, happy-sounding songs for the most part. ) You can vary it a bit if you want, but don't stray too far.

Post a track list with your mix in spoiler tags, always with the original song as the first track, and

try to always include which game/album/anime/movie the music is from.

My idea here is to have groups of songs that will expose people to new music they will probably enjoy that they haven't heard before. This will either go 72 hours, or when we get four submissions, whichever comes first.

Then...we repeat!


One more thing, try not to criticize others' choice of tracks. If you think the music they posted stinks, or you don't think its fits with the original song at all, that's fine.



I will compile the links in this first post in a nice organized format that will most likely evolve if the thread catches on.
