and I can say that this is music from the movie Breakdown with Kurt Russel , Under Siege 2 (track 2+3+6) Track 4+5+7 may be from either Switchback or Breakdown

This is FAKE as Poledouris was never attached to D-Tox at all...
Just want you people to know...

otherwise you are doing a great work Babydoll...much appreciated

yea, running into that a bit. Interestingly, Deep Scores has a bit under 50-ish more Poledouris scores I can request, ironically including "complete" and "rejected" versions of Breakdown.....?

So, what is the gain for faking something like this? It is spread for free, no name attached, no"fame" after one or to reposts, i just don't get that....?

the same happened with King Kong rejected as the most famous which was the score to Frizzels Primeval...

Some people are dumb ...thats it , and they laugh when those fake ones circulate among us...
I once saw an idiot selling rejected music to Psycho 3 by Carter Burewell...
There IS NO rejected music to that movie (it was from many different Burewell scores like Kalifornia, Blood Simple etc. (he was charging over 150$ for it to)

Its very easy for those fakes to be spread around by people that do not know the music from certain movies, because of idiots making those fake ones...

When saying rejected by something, be very suspecious if youīre not sure of it...

Breakdown exists in an official and one rejected score by Poledouris...
They are real as he first got his music rejected , then composed a new one to the very same movie ...
The first track posted here was the main title theme to the official score...

Why do people do that? Selling fake music for that ridiculous amount of money? How do we know if a (rejected) score is genuine or not these days?
I heard about that rejected score for King Kong, but wasn't the real one by Howard Shore released some time later?

Why do people sell things and when they get the money they dont deliver?
Thats a way of life and for every minute there is an asshole born to this world...(sad as it might be)

NO real King kong has ever been available not on a boot not on anything...
I dont know if it even was recorded to tape , but there is a documentary on King Kong DVD that featured some parts when Howard Shore was attached to the movie, but NO music...
So No...

If you get your hands on arejected score that isnīt from a original CD, take it with caution...If you havent read that that particular composer made a score that was rejected to that particular movie...Itīs probably fake...

Actually this isn't fake, although it is mistitled. It should be "Submissions" rather than "Rejected".

He sent in a demo CD and they decided to go with Powell and others.

How do you know?
I havenīt heard anywhere that Poledouris was attached to this ever...It could for all I care only be a fanmade hoax?
Do you have any proof that Basil ever submissioned theses tracks as a demo to the ones who made D-tox?
just curious
