EDIT: As I recall, it's also in Star Trek III.

Part IV, also. None of the old movies quoted the theme as fully as Giacchino does in this one, though.

Michael Giacchino has always had a penchant for using weird names for his cues. "Does It Still Mcfly" is only the latest in that tradition.

I've always wanted to hear John Williams do a Star Trek theme, but Michael Giacchino has a very Williams-esque style, so I suppose this is as close as we'll get. I do like Giacchino's work.

just got out from seeing Wolverine, which was awesome BTW, and heared a familiar bit of music coming from one of the other screens, which had an open door, but a barricade in front of it....peeked in, and holy hell they were screening Star Trek! So would have just gone in if my friend wasn't driving!

they could have at least CLOSED the door...my friend had to drag me away O.O
