I have a little question: Is this a disc from the composer or just a fan collection of lossless files? Because i have a 19-Track Extended Promo Score ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) in Lossless, so i wondering where this score come from. But thx anyway for this great effort! :)

...anyway the sound is clear, and he contains all the cues from the original promo version (that you have shared), also all the cues from the original iTunes release and in far better quality for the first time (because iTunes standard was vbr 256/192kbps), but also all the alternate versions from a Murphy film music promo and the Underworld cue from Oblivion.
Same quality than your share, but few more tracks for resume :)

i know its a bit late... but this is not true. I just checked your files with mine, and it has a different quality.

For example:

you see... your file has cut offs which is not real lossless.

i would still recommend my real lossless extended promo ([Only registered and activated users can see links]), because your version has a much lower soundquality.

you can't create a better soundquality from a lossy file, just for your information ;)

The ripp is from an original CD to a FLAC compression without any error occured, I have made a LOG with EAC audio extract for give the proof of the quality.

i actually don't know where you get this "original cd"...either a fake cd or bad encode because the whole rip has a lossy master...

So confused right now. I've downloaded both. The Sunshine theme / Kaneda's death is shorter in this one, but longer in Biohazard's, although i'm sure they're different tracks. I mean the tune is similar but the pace etc is different.

Although some tracks are the same, like Freezing Inside - both of them still have the annoying scream sound effects which I heard in the low quality internet release. Wondering how you made a FLAC rip of this? If you did rip from the CD then it can't be an official CD because there is no official CD, unless someone on the net just ripped the MP3 files that are floating around and printed a CD cover, which you have then ripped in FLAC (obviously the quality will be the same as the original MP3 files that were burned)

Biohazard's version is true lossless - not ripped from an mp3 sourced CD.

IIRC the sound effects on Freezing Inside are not effects added over the music but were part of the music created by John Murphy.

You sure? I watched the film and I seem to remember a character screaming because he was dying during that scene. I'm not sure how it could be true lossless, because there is no official CD available.

My version is the official promo cd from the composer himself, its called "extended" because i added the song track "To Heal" by "Underworld" (also in lossless) ;)

Well OK. I just don't trust some of these Promo CDs. You see 'promos' go on Ebay for ridiculous money when you know for a fact they're simply game-rips for example, freely downloadable from somewhere like here and burned to a CD by the seller.\

For example an Assassins Creed one selling for 70+pounds last year, there were 7 tracks ripped from the game, probably in like 128kbs. Ridiculous!
