Dead Space - Selfmade Album

Finnally, the game rip of "Dead Space" is availible, thanx to orange_c. A lot of music and ambience sounds, more you can handle.
The official album was a disappointment, because there was a lack of all the great suspense themes. So I decided to do my own cut, using orange_c's rip and the official album (the main title and the intro aren't in the rip) ...

It's a big project, like my last big one "Bioshock", so it will take some time to get the whole music converted.

For now, the first part is up. 27 minutes of music ...

It's finished now. 86 minutes of music. a lot of suspense music, action music too, but not so much as in the official album ...

Might be a weird request and likely impossible/difficult, but is there anyway you can get any clear versions of some of the sound effects like the quarantine lockdown alarm and the dead teammate flatline?

The score for Dead Space is quite excellent, but whilst suiting the horror of the game perfectly, some tracks can be very grating and cacophonous (if there's such a word? :D) to listen to out of context. It's great to have the atmospheric "listenable" themes away from the hammering and dismemberment :)

This is such a brilliant score, it reminds me of the great old sci-fi movies but also breaks it's own new ground. It's hard to say which i like best out of Dead Space and Bioshock though, good work all round.

I wonder if anyone could do something similar with the Mass Effect gamerips? must be a titanic effort mixing and matching all the pieces. There was a guy here who mixed the Tombraider Underworld tracks into suites, with some cutscene dialogue too. That was also great.

i don't like thes music from "Mass Effect", so i won't do this ... but I am thinking about to do the "quantum of solance" from Chris Lennertz ...

I didn't use any part of the music. Especially the action parts are really anoying because it's more noise then music. My focus was on to prevent the feeling of the game with all these great suspense tracks.
