There is none. Information is information and will forever be that, just information. Into a forum where each of your thoughts and images are plunged into a stream of ascii. You convert on the fly between the very fibers of reality and you become seeded data amongst the everflowing archive. In all actuality you place an if but small, strand of consciousness into the collective entity known as the internet. There is no face on information, there is no age on it. It is collective and infinite... This is why I can't be bothered with such frugalities as closing threads or angering myself over old posts. You dont realize how trivial it is until you vision the full scope of your own life and how short it is. You slowly begin to realize that these threads in fact, haven't been around long at all. You gain insight, and a new vision to the world around you and learn to appreciate life.

On the other hand, we need to keep the place tidy and that is best served by closing old and crap threads.

To cease senseless threads from growing, all the while maintaining that wonderful 13,000 post count .

EDIT: I forgot I already posted an answer in this thread.
