Yet another 'Sliat' game recording (gratuitous plug, I know).

The complete CPS1 version of Street Fighter Alpha. The CPS Changer is a failed arcade system by Capcom, and this is one of the 11 titles for that system. Still, this is kind of rare, so I hope you all enjoy this.

*if I recorded this, then you know to expect 3 loops, right?*
*the format was M1 Bridge in-line wav to mp3*
*the odd track order is due to the order in which the files appear in Bridge*
*if I'm not mistaken, these tracks are also in the Street Fighter Alpha Collection, but I don't remember for sure*

LOL! These versions sound like the game was ported to the Genesis.

I wonder if this could be done with any other games like Darkstalkers or SFA2 & 3.

That would be interesting to hear. But what this was is actually a botched engine by Capcom. There was only 11 games (I think) ever made of the CPS Changer, and SFA was the only well known game.

I don't know where the CPS-1 versions of the Super Street Fighter II music comes from. I had thought it was this engine, but it isn't. If SSFII is also in CPS-1 format like SFA, it's worth exploring further.

Does anyone know where I can get the Remixed music found in the console versions? I don't like the arcade sound too much :(
